Spectrometers are a last resort to be honest. They really are awful things. We borrow one at work occasionally and they're pathetic. A 96% match (which should be good enough for most people to blend in) is usually black and white.

They told wrong. You'll need a single coat of etch. Rule of thumb, unless it's already painted just etch it out of precaution.

They come and go to be honest, the USA tele was a cheap enough investment, the green one will be for sale soon. If you must know I have 9 but the LPB tele is my own that stays.

Your mums room looked nicer last time I was in there. In another constant barrage of shite pictures... Got the USA tele polished, all the metalwork cleaned and re polished and the neck refitted. Really pleased with the neck now, I wasn't sure on the matte lacquer but it's perfect. Plays really nicely too after awe hours fettling!
