  1. Problem with that is, my mum had a crash over a year ago, the police where informed but they didn't show up! She was hit by a Renault master driven by an uninsured polish guy who did a runner, ironically he had just been fly tipping too, hence the rush to leave the pull in. There was no pictures taken at the scene other than the damage to her car and final resting place after the collision because there was nothing else to show, the only saving grace was someone caught the registration and spotted the van a mile or so up the road in a pull in trying to hang his bumper and headlamps again. That's still going on, it's been decided he was at fault, but the driver hasn't been named/found because the owner lends it to his friends, non of which are insured on the vehicle. If the police had shown up maybe it would've been more straight forward? They could've popped up the road, arrested the faggot and life would be simpler? As it is my mums facing court appearances to try and testify against some polish guys that don't live too far from her so as you can imagine she's quite scared.
  2. I'm not married so I still have to earn my garage time I've been in the dog house recently do not much time for minis and stuff. Plus it's just a money thing too. How's yours running bud?
  3. I'm gunning for 2016, I want an MOT on it and that'll happen when it's ready, but I'm not holding my hopes out for this year. There's not much to do in the grand scheme, but I just don't have the spare time . Motor was sound other than a bit smokey and needs a clutch. I have the clutch and it'll be getting new valve guides soon so that should cure those. Getting intercooled this time around too which I'm looking forward to doing. I've got a good condition Laguna I/C to stick on somewhere which should look good, I'm going for a super stealthy install, loadsa blmc green and satin black in the bay so it looks as O.E as a turbo setup can..
  4. Got a list of needed stuff for the mini I'll be organising tonight hopefully, dropping my new subby off at the blasters this week too. This is how it stands... Poor thing
  5. It was in limbo between my tutor and his guitar tech guy. Played like dog shit. Yeah I'd guess the longer the block the less risk of knackerring up, even so you've got bigger globes than me.
  6. Nevvvaaah. Brave man on trying the fret levelling, I played a strat that had been home dressed a while ago and it was dreadful! Unreal how much taking such small amounts in the wrong places can f**k so much shit up.

Ha,I just trawled to find this page to ask the same as the last guy! I'm really fancying a scaler, the guy that works next door to me has a all out rock crawler which is cool, but just looks weird. I'm really digging the RC4WD gelande 2 or trail finder 2. That's irrelevant thou. Anyone else into it? I'm struggling to decide if it's pretty cool, or majorly sad . In other news I took my Cat K1 bashing the other week with my bud and his HPI trophy 3.5, didn't do too bad in terms of matching the nitro for speeds and blew it outa the water handling. I'd forgotten how fragile it is thou, took a massive spill and it's a wreck . Could be cheaper to buy a new chassis and keep the old one for spares!
  8. Dusted mine off today and got to work, entire old loom removed as it was butchered and rough, to be replaced with my own loom. Tank out the boot ready to tidy up and repaint. Really enjoyed working on her again, it's been far too long!
  9. Projectele took a new direction.. Recessed the switch plate, flushed the pickup mount and smoothed it, going for a clear scratch plate too I think. Colour match primer is my new favourite thing. Can't wait to get it coloured and get the pickup bonded at the right height!
  10. What frame is it mike? As rizzledrizzle said you've gotta try some out, as it largely alters between manufacturers. My orange is massive compared to my onone, both 20" frames!
  11. I find the dweeb quite insulting...
  12. Nothing nicer then getting home after a hard day and picking one of these up. I love this pair so much...
  13. Just fibreglass matting+resin the thing a few times. Look a shit tonne better than fitting that thing to the outside.
  14. What was wrong with the sunroof anyway?
  15. Appreciated how's the new addition bud?
  16. It was on that table Ed! I didn't want to be known solely for paintwork thou, in wanted the restoration work to get a shout too, Adam, pictures of the tele man! Don't forget to buy a decent lead too bud, as after a good guitar and good amp that's your 'choke' on the sound. I use a fender custom shop lead with angled heads for my tele, makes life easier with the classic style tele input.
  17. I'd echo everything JD says, but I'd thoroughly recommend anything fender, I love my super champ! My friend has a mustang and guitar teacher has an old Princeton which sounds gorgeous. The mustang range seems great to me but I'd still echo what JD says, you've gotta get out there and listen to them! Fantastic choice in the mex Tele, I love my mex Tele + Strat so much!
  18. Raceface narrowide, never dropped chain with an xt clutch mech. It's awesome. Stop f'ckin about Ross and do it
  19. Short stem, broom handle bars - win. I peddled Jenny's bike with 650mm bars on Sunday and realised how sketchy that shit felt. I'm getting dirty thoughts of building a 29" hardtail, something like a onone parkwood or something. It's disgusting to think of
  20. The starchem stripper is hit and miss, Langlow strip away pro is the shiz.
  21. Congratulations buddy, hope all goes as should!
