  1. It's not, he's been eating the bits of fat ball that fall from the feeders up the garden. He never usually blows off but since he's found this delicacy he's turned our front room into Auschwitz finest chamber.
  2. Dog keeps farting and it wreaks so badly.
  3. Haha, I can appreciate the work and timber choice, but it's the timber choice that's let it down too! In other news.... My names Tom, and I have a problem.. My friend lost his job Wednesday, and knew I had mad love for his SG so he put temptation in front of me and I fell hook line and sinker . 2015 SG special in fireburst, with all the case candy and gubbins to go with it. He's only had it 2 weeks and has played it a maximum of 4 times that I know of! It's more a loan really as he can buy it back when he's sorted out but knew I wouldn't say no if he offered it. Plays so bloomin' lovely. Plus G force tuning is pimp as! Pick it up, turn the tuner on, strum, let it adjust then strum again and away you go!
  4. Offer Dan a finger in the bum, guaranteed to get your head down in Leeds tonight...
  5. I'm game, give me a few weeks to free my Sundays up and I'm in.
  6. I prefer the blue route to the red at pines, from the point of view that the red route is too much for the 9 miles they set in. The best part of red is the new deforested section that leads to those berms, the rest I can take or leave really..
  7. Tonight I've watched Foo Fighters at radio1s big weekend and thought 'yeah, s'alright' turned over to channel 5 to watch Stevie Wonders Grammy Salute and this night just got a f**k tonne better...
  8. There's a few but they're all short. Pines biggest downfall is it's pretty flat, with miles and miles of fireroads so it makes any unbeaten track not really worth finding. There's a few nifty little blue to red link ups that are nice but that's about it.
  9. I'm lucky if I've even got the bike off the roof and kit bag sorted in that time.
  10. Yeah, my friend Aron can run it in 32 minutes . He's an animal though. Edit - tell a lie, 34 mins
  11. Nice one Allen, my best at pines is around 53minutes, but I haven't ridden it for a while in anger. Haven't touched the bike for a good month or so
  12. This guys emailed me today to tell me how terrible the finish is on this and he'd like a full refund . Aparently it's not flat enough for his elitist customers.
  13. Not the 'zocchis was it dude?!
  14. Looks good man, not my bag but I like it. Did you get the intonation sorted?
  15. In what way man? Sucks Lacquered this for a guitar builder this week, not my bag but I can appreciate the work and timber choice.. Turned out lovely After looking at Texas special pickups I decided against a set for my strat after watching this.. http://youtu.be/jy7TNezelpo So I've just ordered a set for the Tele! Gonna sound incredible.
  16. A lot of people blast alloys but I really wouldn't recommend it. I've painted a few sets of wheels that gave been blasted and the surface afterwards is just battered. Makes for a lot more prep afterwards.
  17. I love it to pieces, it's been my go to now every night and it still keeps making me smile. I cranked the gain up a touch last night and couldn't get over sound. I know what your saying about the lacquer thou, after 30-40 minutes playing I noticed the lacquer gets tougher to slide around on along the neck, it's very rare thou I get longer than half hour to play so it's not a major concern for me. Ha, I dropped mine off earlier for a setup and asked for 12s, for the same reasons really, it only seems to suit the rockabilly bends up on the top 3 strings. I do really really enjoy it thou. Such a different sound and feel to my Tele to make it valid. I think I'm gonna mod it a touch, go for some real hot 60s style boutique pickups, BB King varitone wiring mod and done better pots, I'd like this to be a real tone machine but with that real bluesy sound.
  18. Anyone ever built a case before?
  19. Am goin tesco, comin?
  20. What, the Yorkshire accent?
