  1. JD cracking the Mobot out at the end, still got the egg and spoon intact.
  2. Im sure your co-workers appreciate the smell.
  3. Booo, seatbelt pre-tensioners have fired, never mind. I removed all the ply lining tonight whilst waiting for my new beam and springs in an effort to remove the pure smell of dog, washed all the back end out too with detol to help. So far so good thou, not found any other nasties so should be a nice turnaround.
  4. The crowning glory was the £1656.98 service it had a VW, 189 miles before it's accident , including all discs/pads, cam belt kit, all filters and a hell of a service. It even has 3/4 tank of diesel!
  5. The bow tie was my bargaining tool. It's a shame the whole vans full of dog hair and stinks, it's like Dan spent a night in KFC car park in it..
  6. Not really, nothing that I wasn't expecting when I bought it. Shopping list is - Rear beam (hopefully pick one up with callipers and the shocks on) O/S leaf spring for the back Pair of rear shocks That's all it needs mechanically, the rest is bodywork. For what I've paid it's a steal!
  7. I'm a buckled van man at the minute!
  8. Any reason? And no, it's silver..
  9. Purchased my latest VAG cart yesterday! Hopefully be here around dinner time. I haven't even seen it in person yet, I hope it's as described lolol. Really do need to get rid of the Passat now!
  10. Has he fixed the roof?
  11. So I put a for sale sign in this at 9am this morning, took it to a local car show and I've had 7 calls on it! Easy advertising fo t'win.
  12. Haha, the camera on my phone has a colossal shitfit when the suns out, pretty sure it's due to the amount of dust within my phone case as it used to be really good.
  13. I hope some spotty scene kid likes the colour, cus I sure as shit don't
  14. Genuinely bought a tear to my eye, so good to see Martyn smiling and back on a bike. I have nothing but pure respect for Martyn, he was a fantastic ambassador for trials for god knows how long and a massive inspiration to many, he's still pushing boundaries as to what's possible for the not so able. I know for a fact if I was in that position I'd have all on just getting by day to day, let alone getting out there and pushing hard again.
  15. That sucks man, hate it when you look foward to something then it's just not what you had built up in your mind. I managed to pick up some custom shop Fat 50's pickups last week, so I've set them up with a full CTS 250k pot set/0.47 cap and cloth wiring throughout. Got a real quack now but with bags of top end, I love it! Fitted them all into a new mint green scratchplate, looks pretty awesome against the LPB in my opinion..
  16. Decided to sell the Passat as its done its job for me, times come and I need a van. My 3DSM wheels were curbed to hell and I've always wanted a cool colour on the rims so Kia Techno orange came into play... Pretty pleased with the colour, just need 2 New tyres on the back and I can get those painted then. After that I need to fiberglass the front splitter up and address a bit of lacquer peel on the front wing then it's up for sale. I'll be quite sad to see her go, does everything I want apart from carry 8x4 sheet materials.
  17. 'Thanks for paying me £X millions BBC but here's what I really think...'
  18. Thought the giant elephant was pretty funny. I enjoyed it all apart from them rolling those 4x4s down the sandbank, I just didn't see the point? Was nice to watch a new top gear though, I look foward to seeing what Evans can do with it. I hope it steers towards a bigger budget 'The Classic Car Show' that was on channel 5, that was a decent show apart from Quentin Wilson!
  19. Anybody else cut cables with a 1.5mm disc on the grinder? I find it always gives the best clean cuts if your quick with it.
  20. GBYB! Still holds it's own as an awesome video, loved it first time around and still do!
  21. Fiiiine. Yes, I have repainted this because someone on TF commented I saw a Daphne blue type jazz bass on Google the other night and thought it was awesome so went that route.
  22. Honda chat gives me dyslexia.
  23. Sherwood green possibly, looks abit brighter/cleaner though..
  24. It's some troll on the TV, your right it would look cool though! I didn't want LPB on the bass originally, I wanted ocean turquoise which is.. But turns out that Fender used that name twice in the seventies or so for the green and for the blue variations! Still, looks pretty cool I think.
