  1. Guy came for the Passat tonight, totes emoshe about it but needs must. Fairwell faithful wagon, you'll be sorely missed!
  2. http://www.rac.co.uk/community/blog/rac-blog/september-2011/what-is-an-insurance-write-off ? I know if someone has died in the vehicle it's an instant trip to the crusher..
  3. I thought B was for parts and A was for crush?
  4. Isn't it Dan that gets his kicks from a digit in the poo shoot anyway? Could be right up his street...
  5. You know the rules Tindertroll...
  6. Cheers, I love vans too much ha. At the minute I've got my dads works van whilst he's off and the camper. I'm looking forward to getting mine finished though so I can start getting out and about in my rolling advert. I was gonna keep these under wraps, but they look too cool not to show off! 17" T5 GP steels, gonna get them banded to 8" all round to give a slight dish, with some 195/45s I think they'll look big enough to fill the arch, I picked that graphite and roughed on out but I think I'm gonna go a different route. I'm trying to figure out the nicest way to mount those caps too but I think I have the solution!
  7. Caddy lows... Wheels and adapters turned up last week, can't wait to get this thing finished and on the road!
  8. Sold the passat pending this guy coming and giving me the other £2600, so it looks like this is my daily till the caddy is finished..

  11. Not angry, more saddened by this.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk Jenny an I saw the whole thing and it really dampened the day. It was such a surreal moment, the whole festival fell deadly quite after realizing what had happened. Really sad an was tragic to watch.
  12. J10LFA and J44RDO sittin' in a tree...
  13. Caddy is off to the mechanics next week to fit a new zorst and rear brake line (I'm struggling on these without a lift) then it's straight off to the bodyshop! My wheels turned up today so they'll go for banding when I get my adapters and know what I can safely go for. Just coilies and sign writing after that!
  14. It won't last Mike, the ebay tirade will catch up with you . I was the only person refurbishing squier guitars and reselling but that only lasted 3 months before others tried and failed.
  15. Been looking round ebay for seatbelts for my caddy as the pretensioners have fired in mine. Spent weeks looking and can't find any for a 2k5. I ordered a pair from TPS at £260, which I didn't think was really that bad and was happy to pay really given the job they do. Thought I'd organise an airbag and airbag module this morning then it's sorted other than the bodywork, I expected to pay £350-400 for the module + bag. First result was a 2k5 module, airbag and seatbelts for £185. FML. I'll sell the second hand belts to hopefully pay for most of the other kit. To cheer myself up I've bought some wheels for it
  16. These women are called prostitutes Dan, general society says you should probably stay away and stick to tinder freebies.
