I would get a trailer for it, but the trucks just over 2ft long, so it'd be about 4-5ft long depending on the trailer!

  6. Does anyone else read stuff on Facebook and just think 'What the hell is that even meant to be?' Earlier on I read 'when your turnt af...' The f**k is a turnt?! Just feel old.
  7. For the month I owned a Clio that shape, I hated it. Low sun + skinny visors sucked dick
  8. Step 1 - drill holes step 2 - fit plugs step 3 - ... step 4 - PROFIT!
  9. Stick another elastic band on that split wing @dann2707 Mike, a mate of mine fitted a vectra front splitter to his mx5, just drilled the bumper and self tapers to fit. Looked pretty good too
  10. Everyone including myself will tell you they go forever if you buy a genuine and maintained motor. My old 1.9 105 Passat did 15k a year with me and reached 185k. Still rattle free and drove beautifully, I'd still have it if it carried sheet timber. The problem is with Leon/golf/jetta they're all prime for working vehicles due to their reliability so expect to pay a premium for anything under 100k. Personally I would aim for a well serviced full history vehicle at around 120k, check your belts and clutch as they're usually ready around that mileage. The other thing with VAG diesels is they seem to drop into limp mode occasionally if they're pinned hard, my polo used to be a swine for it which turned out to be the air flow meter was just shitted up. Replaced it with a Bosch item at £60 and it never happened again.
  11. Just put Fallout on and it hasn't needed an update! Magic!
  12. TheCircus is back and Dan's new piece provided new tug material. Best day ever!

  15. Least productive morning but somehow satisfying.. http://www.adventcontrols.co.uk/gsm-auto-dialer.html Advantage is that's even the Yale alarm I'm fitting! I did look at GSM alarms, but for something branded such as Yale it gets pretty pricey. There is other alarms around the £200 that start with a single PIR and door sensor but they're unbranded which puts me off a little. In reality my unit is 15 minutes from my house, about 2 miles from anything else so the alarm will hardly be a deterrent and the 15 minute drive gives them long enough to grab and get out but every little helps I suppose. Glad I just fitted a metal door and frame though, if it's ever needed that should slow them down quite a lot.
  16. Question.... If I bought a standard household phone that accepts a SIM card, then plugged the alarm into that, would that be any different? The alarm is programmed with the number to call so as long as the phone acts as a transmitter it should work?
  17. Fellow 6 users of trials forum, I need assistance. I'm fitting an alarm at my business unit that has the capability to call a few numbers of the alarm goes off. My unit doesn't have a landline and I'm not interested in having one as it will only be used for the alarm. I need something to connect via a standard phone cable that will send the signal for me as a landline would. I've found a few options but they're all stateside and I'm not 100% sure that's what I'll need. If anyone can give me some guidance on this it would be much appreciated.
  18. Why's everyone walking in dog shit?!
  19. The bulkhead on my mini was shoved back when I bought that jardo, measurements, a block of wood and a sledge hammer resolves problems like that on old motors! Glad your keeping it alive though mate, she's worth saving.
  20. That looks like it'll go again without too much fuss. Definitely need to buy it back jardarse!
  21. I never really do resolutions, but seems different this time around so I've made a few.. - Spend more time with the family - Get back in shape/eat a shit tonne better, the last few months have been rediculous - Keep pushing myself at work and push my business to another level - Do at least 3 charity events this year
