I've no idea what my credit score is, they were less concerned about my credit score and more concerned about my self employment seemingly. I guess I'm not into amassing property and stuff. Just see a few friends that are renting but have no end game, whereas unless shit hits the fan in 20 years I will own my own property that I can grow old in. I guess I just like the future proofing part..

Viewed last night, wasn't at all as described and really really not what we thought. Spoke to our mortgage adviser yesterday, we still owe too much on ours to remortgage on a rent to buy, but could remortgage if wanted to given current status. Since we bought ours Jenny and I have both changed employment so was interesting to hear how it's affected our status and the process I'd have to go through to prove my earnings etc. Decided to stay put for few more years and squirrel money away towards a bigger house that has scope for a workshop on the back for me to run my business from.

Probably, think last year I paid enough tax for half the immigrant population so I'm ready for it.

We booked a veiwing yesterday. Gonna speak to the bank about remorgaging ours on a buy to let possibly* and viable options for borrowing while retaining ours. Fortunately we only took a small mortgage out originally and were nowhere near what they were willing to lend so hopefully that'll stand in good stead. It's come at quite a fortunate time really as I've sold alot recently so sat on a decent deposit for a new property, with still more to shift if necessary. It'll be tight but we'll see. * I dunno how viable that'll be, given that it's still quite a new mortgage but we've made overpayments and never missed so we should be viewed as good borrowers..

After I spent last year building a conservatory, landscaping our back garden, redecorating inside and refitting the kitchen the 3 bed detached with double garage we've always had our eyes on has gone up for sale FML

I just don't understand how people can believe the human race is enslaved by a greater being. Go live in some of these awful African states and some middle eastern countries Dave. I should imagine your ideals of enslavement will soon change when you realise just how privelaged and free to roam your life is. People die, people get shot, goods or land are taken by force. I can't imagine there's much you'd want to know or could even begin to imagine. The less I know about what goes on at war the better, take that as a ignorance I don't care. I understand it happens, I don't agree with it but it does, I've no intention of going to war as I couldn't handle it. The purpose of today's society is to spend our money so it can be taxed, which then pays for xyz. There's not a great deal to it really. The human race is all about consumption, be it tech or food or clothes. The system works well, you work for money, they skim abit off the top to pay folks to look after the world around you and you spend the rest on whatever. The secret society members are probably keeping an eye on you, if you and your other crackpot theory scaremongers didn't go off like this I doubt there'd be a need for them. As far as I'm concerned my tax pays for people to worry about the shit that your trying to rumble. I'm good with that arrangement.
