Jennys mini has started acting up on the stop start so we decided times come to get shut of it. Life long goal realised and I've bought a 2001 silver 3 door Corsa with manual EVERYTHING. With 22k genuine miles on it, full service history and interior is practically brand new, all for £125 Gives us the opportunity to offload the mini, look for a good replacement and get that sorted with no pressure really.

I wouldn't say that was best of the internet though, but it did make me happy..

Yeah gonna loose the servo for intercooler pipework space, plus I needed a new master cylinder anyway so was convenient timing. Thinking of running fresh brake lines through the whole car while I'm at it. It's a pretty inexpensive job and worthwhile doing while I'm at it.

The only time I was self conscious of my teeth was when I was around 13and I had no front teeth, braces and these 2 cotton pads stitched to inside of my front lip to keep the cuts and work clean. I've always looked after them and brushed regularly so I don't really have anything to pin it to, just guess I was dealt a shitty hand with teeth!

Pretty much. My 'fear' is the chain of events that will follow, I know.my front teeth are perishing as they have never grown properly, and what's probably supposed to be in the gum is actually exposed after a failed surgery so I guess that'll want taking care of and the chunk of tooth was from a broken tooth in the back of my mouth.

Total lie - yeah every few years.. Truth - no, I haven't been to the dentist for around 13 years, possibly more. When I was around 10 I had surgery to correct my teeth as the teeth either side of my fronts were at such an angle they wouldn't let my milk teeth fall out. After that came about 8 years of surgery and braces etc. The final result wasn't good. I now have front teeth that protrude infront of the rest, the outer 2 have pushed back inward and squashed my fronts up to the point my fronts are now stepped too as there isn't enough space for them. Overall I've never been that happy with my teeth and it's something I've just accepted is shit. I know it's pretty childish to think I'm not.going to the dentist as I hate it but f**k I hate it. Just over a year ago I decided to consider something like veneers or something so they're good for my wedding day but it never happened.

Dunno to be honest, just appeared to be venturing round my mouth when I took a bite of my sandwich. My teeth are a train wreck anyway, I give them 2 years good before I have to have major work.

It's cool, didn't need that part of my tooth anyway.. .

Yeah I always wanted to paint it island blue but never really was in a position to do it. Job list mostly is.. Fit yellow band master cylinder and early pedal box Wire the car up (looms already made just needs laying and fitting up) Clutch, drop engine in Get valve guides done to finally cure the smoke issue Tinker till works...

It's in a pretty good state to be honest. I took the motor out as the clutch let go and I'd had enough of spending all my spare money and time fixing it so bought a polo. It's currently just missing it's motor and wiring loom. I took the loom out as it's been bodged a million times and was borderline dangerous. So I built a basic loom to power the lights, wipers, horn, fan, ignition and gauges as that's all that is left really. I even have a new clutch and flywheel to go back in just never got the oomph to do it. A few good weekends would see it back on the road but I'd rather spend time on it and get it right and nice this time. I'm contemplating a new colour as the body is rust free and would just need a scrub up and paint, but that might be next year.

Yeah haha it looks nothing like that now. Currently a big good where that engine is but it's shaping up ready for a motor. Edit.. actually probably more like 8 years old..

When you order a top end basket kit, radiator, rad hoses, heater hoses, thermostat, thermostat housing, hoses, water pump, fan kit and heater take offs to combat the water leak you have, only to find the first heater hose you come to has a split in it . Ahh well, jobs need doing anyway.

Niiiiiice. In the end they 'sold' it to Huddersfield mini spares for 10/11k I can't remember now. Definitely wasn't worth the money.
