No problem, there should be 2 5mm headed bolts on the back of the caliper (facing the bb, with a vee brake pad style washer fitting underneath) one on the top of the black fork mount, and one on the bottom

a lad at my local has a 8mm flesh tunnel, and he gets away with it (Y)

have you set thie disc up in terms of pads hitting square? if not loosen the bolts that go onto the caliper, 2 of them with round washers underneath, and click the pads in until they wont click anymore, then tighten these bolts up. then loosen the pads until your satisfied. If youve done thie and still not happy, pore cold water on it, and bomb it down a hill, dragging the brake. Or just ride with it, and it will become whiplash material

Mark, my avid did this from new and still does do this, its nothing to worry about, it only does it thou when its well set up, so theres nothing to worry about, i think the ching is just the pads exiting off the rotor. Tom

yeah but look at the end of that video and hes using a magura louise on the front and thats a beast ^_^ A magura will lock ace on a front clean, mine did anyway and that was just kool stop pads. Tom

no offence, but that was preety much the same as every other python video going big. no style, heavy music, hearing the rim getting raped, and poor editing. Sorry but its what i thought. Riding was mucho impressiove, but no style or precision in it. Tom

riding in some 30 quid duffs i bought in january, that i wear for all the scrubby jobs around the house, and then for riding there super comfy, really well mounlded to your feet Also got another pair of duffs(that i rode in once, but i didnt want to but they where still very nice for riding) in general you cant got wrong with going to your local freespirit/ckate shop, and seeing whats on offer, the chaeper the better, the'll just wear out. Or a pair of plympsole based shoes (such as the dunlop shoes, converse etc) are ace for riding in, i wear them acosionally, really nice sole, fit well, and are very thin on the sides. and you dont look a full on gemp. bt forks ben? 4 bolt disc or vee brake and disc or disc only

bt forks only come with 185mm of steerer :$ from what you've said thell fit then :ermm: i get 185 sitting at the top of my top cap (Y) so a 5mm spacer would fix that :D Cheers Tom

i hated my gcse's and as level history and gnvq enginnering, so i did shite all in them and got enough to atleast come out with a decent ennough grade, but now im on a 3d design course at college and i love it, put 100% into it, and still get time to ride, its brill. just find a course that intrests you at a college, and go for it, if you dont like it drop it and get a job, sorted.

Rightyho, considering buying some bt forks as they preety much look the shiz, but im unsure if my frame will accept them? (05 t-rex with a 10mm spacer and a 50mm clamp on the stem, with a onza zero stack headset) and i was wondering how do you measure the steerer tube on forks? is it from the bottom of where the crown race sits, or above the arear where the crown race sits? A or B ?? unless someone knows if the bt forks will fit anyway??? Cheers Tom Oh yeah, does anyone know the length of tuff guy forks??? just seeing how much longer the bt forks will be.
