  1. LOL I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH JACK POT.
  2. Yeah I know Porter (well, met him years ago, seen his 205 thrashing round a few ties too!) Looks gorgeous, really like it
  3. Si, I'm not having a go or being a penis, an I know you have said the cambers not staying like that, but you are having a fair old bit of neg camber on there. How are you going to go on when its got the b20/whatever else it was your fitting? Surely the handling is appauling like that? Or will it just be a straight line rocket?
  4. WD40 the threads the night before your going to try and remove them. Its never 100% effective, but it helps sometimes
  5. Ah right, I've always been told points where doubled in your first two years. Eitherway, the outcomes the same from 2 speeding fines in your first 2 years really....
  6. That was awesome, some of the bunny stuff looks smaller on there then it is by miles! (Except that monster roll up, thats huge however you look at it)
  7. Where are you getting the fact the 1900 is better then the 1600 from? Like me and Robin have said, speaking to people who have actually OWNED the cars and people in the know when it comes to 205s, a lot have recommended the smaller engined car for practicality. Just because theirs a few more ponies under the bonnet doesn't make it the better car. Ha, No replacement for Displacement. FI
  8. Considering what I'm driving daily at the minute, a little less tinkering would be awesome.
  9. Surely matey has 9points? 3 points in Jan, double to make 6 as its within your probation period, 3 points Tuesday, means another 3 as its outside your prob. period. Thus - 9. One more speeding and yo done for foo'.
  10. Death From Above 1979 - Blood On Our Hands (Justice mix) Awesome track
  11. That looks stunning, really like that!
  12. If I was buying a golf I'd go newer and diesel (mk4 130pd model, to be exact ). I've always fancied a 205 gti, and others I have spoken too have mentioned the 1.6 being a generaly easier car to be with everyday. I don't want something too thirsty either hence the smaller engine. My plans is to buy the best I can, and just make it a perfect example of a gti. No mods, maybe have the steering/geometry set up an thats it. Thats my plan anyway... Those key points, out weigh eachother. I'm wanting an origional untouched car, which means there the top end of the 205 price range. If I can find myself a reasonabley smart, well documented 205 for about £1300-£1500 I'll be happy.
  13. I've always had abit of a thing for 205gti's, an at the minute I'm in a situation where I could purchase one. Anybody got any tips on where I'm looking for problem areas? I've read the backs of the sills, round the arch lip under the plastic and then make sure its had a cambelt swap not tooo long ago. Also anybody got a deecent guide price to be sticking too? I'm after a good example, non molested, 1600 gti. From what I've noticed I'm looking around the £1500 mark? For a well serviced, documented car... Any help and advice where and what to be looking for would be awesome, thanks in advance chaps!
  14. I can assure you, Ben doesn't ride anything like Damon Watson. He's a massive Basher.
  15. Bombay Bicycle Club - I had the blues but shook them loose. f**king brilliant album.
  16. just get the non damaged door bare, whip the door card off and swap over straight from one to the other, tape the bolts in place if your not sure.
  17. Nice one Dave, all the best with starting a family!
  18. I had a dream the other night I was in a car crash after watching holby city or some shit with the missus the other day. Was f**king horrific.
  19. I'm not helping this dude out at all, but what about those kits that bolt a sprocket onto the disc mounts? Screw on sprocket one side, disc mounted sprocket the other...
  20. Is it wrong I laughed when I thought the tin said 'Black Power!'
