New wheels, backs need no spacing, Lolol. Rear archs need rolling to get it abit lower, looks abit tractor like at the minute. I'll post some better pictures when the fronts are setup.
Love it when you do an hours job an can actually tell where you've been.
One ripped door card...
Finally found a replacement on eBay,
Vey chuffed, bargain too!
Washed the whale while I was active, looks much better.
They're highsports. The rides getting firmer as its settling down but its still not harsh. M3 looks fantastic man, really looking foward to seeing some more of your drift videos in that!
After a weekend of rolling round on them I'd thoroughly recommend them.
They've transformed the car. Hardly any body roll, corners like it on rails an still comfy enough for everyday use. I'd compare the ride to something of a sporty hatch, feels a similar ride to the civic type r my sister used to have.
There's miles of thread if going lows your thing. I've dropped the back down about 3" an still got 2" of thread left on the back, similar story on the front too.
Did I see you in Newark last Sunday Alan??
Gotta love a friend with a lift an air tools...
End result...
About 50mm of thread left front an back, digging it!
Gonna leave it to settle then wind it down abit more an get the geometry setup. Awesome. Rides really nice too suprisingly! Feels 'sporty'.
Yeah, hoping to get the front about level. Maybe go abit lower but not loads. Alarm keeps going off now thou seeing as its got mental reverse rake, lol, keeps thinking its being towed away!!
There's no competition anyway robin, that neeeeds Schmidt th lines!
True story, looked a lot better on the phone!! Still got 30-40mm of thread on the back! Rediculous. Here's a better one, fronts his weekend..
Can't decide on wheels at the minute. Narrowed down to 3, just cant decide on going abit euro or sticking oem with some helios rims.....
Hopefully manage to pick up a few votex bits for it and a r36 spoiler soon.
Tried a passat mike? You can get a b5 series passat with fsh an all the gadgets for peanuts atm. Mines the 1.9 105bhp an it goes well enough. Good on insurance too!
Are the bolts removable on those Dan?? Looks preety tidy. Ordered some coilies for my passat last week, just deciding on wheels atm. Few options but I can't decide!
Think that might be the first time I've ever laughed at your lines Sam.. ha.
Right, I'm a tightwad an want scene points.
Bbs rs replicas, I know it could differ from brands but does anybody know if the bolts are removable? I know there not true splits but just wondering if they come out to make my life easy when I paint the set I'm purchasing.
Markgtt on turbominis, hes dropping a vaux motor in on a allspeed frame so he just wanted shot of it.
Can't wait to crack on with the mini now, so much motivation for it.
Fetched a new subframe this morning, time to order up new hi-los, cones, tie bars an bottom arms. Rebuild the top arms an jobs a good'en. Going on holiday tomorow so I won't get to work on the mini .
Hopefully drop the subby off at the blasters tomorrow before I go so it'll get blasted while I'm gone!
