  1. Saw that at GTI international last year, was very impressed, not the most empty bay I've seen though *goes off to scour for pics* And that's mighty!!

    Paypal

You have to have a card you can pay online with, or sell something and get paid through paypal
  3. I think the lightweight black paint on the X-ile gave it the edge over the heavy white on the X-ess That's why I had the X-ile.... That and it was £100 cheaper
  4. Pretty unlikely Antiseptic wipe/spray, plaster/tissue + duct tape, job done
  5. Would that be QMC if you're from Notts? Theres such a big wait because of people like you going in with f*ck all! I had to sit in there 6 hours with my teeth in a glass of milk and my lip hanging off, about 5 hours with my whole left kneecap exposed, so when I put an angle grinder in my leg (about 3" long, 1cm deep) I just stuck a plaster on it... You bloody fairy
  6. I used to have an X-ile... It got stolen, never got a pic, mate had an X-ess aswell, which he's just built back up to try and get back into it all actually
  7. Nope, I used to have #5, my new one is #411 I think As for stem, I'd go for something fairly short with 15degree rise, the Raceface stem on my bike is much too long, the old Azonic one (really short) I had on my first Giant felt much nicer! I need to take some pics of mine
  8. Looks abit scruffy, but I do love the original Giants, I've just finished building one myself, it's amazing What number is yours?
  9. Aye 24/7 grips, liked them so much I bought some myself (on the X-Tort but you can't see)... And I too used them 'til they were pretty much just flaps of rubber hanging off my bars
  10. Ugliest... Frame... Ever No doubt it rides nice though
  11. Maybe, who are you? I am from Long Eaton And yes, I have 100's - mostly riding photo's I had a go on a mates brand spanking new Koxx when they started getting the geometry right, was the easiest thing in the world to ride, easier to have it on one wheel than two! The red/white/blue M.A.D one? I used to love that bike... Until I got my red one
  12. Even so, you can still knock it out of the steerer completely using the large, bold font method

Personal preference I suppose. The geometry is all wrong for rigid forks on a Norco, bottom bracket is much too low, was mighty disappointed when I got mine..
  14. Take your front wheel off, put a long screwdriver up the steerer tube, then hold it still and unbolt the top cap, or wack it out completely DRILLING WILL PROBABLY JUST SPIN THE NUT AND CURE NOTHING. Better?
  15. They were just cheaply made frames that loads of companies put their names on... Pretty decent though, he only killed it last year when he ripped the steerer tube off, jumping
  16. It was a yellow one resprayed, the same one thats also white/blue and red in the other pic I hated the X-Tort, so did my mate I sold it to, truly awful frames! And it's not a Planet X, it's one of those cheapy £70 Barracuda's with Planet X stickers
  17. It's not that one is it? Red X517 on a Hope ti/bulb, he sold it, gutted
  18. Heh, my MK2's in PVW readers ride this month

    Creativity

It's all about the small technical stuff! I've seen alot of videos of people doing big dropoffs and gaps without even being able to line it up on their back wheel properly to take off to start with, looks rubbish, and must be harsh on the bike..
  20. Why?! Several people have told you, you can just hold the star still by going up the steerer tube with a long screwdriver or such... you could really just undo the bolt... And besides, a drill will probably just spin the star and do little else.
  21. On a normal road car!? Don't be silly, how do you think they'd cope the first time you primed the fuel pump... £1k injectors?! What the hell car is that for?! Manufacturers try to keep costs down to actually be able to sell cars, I doubt very much they'd be fitting £1k injectors in mass produced cars from the factory... For what? the first one complete cycle, if that? Nothing to really be too concerened about Pinking and detonation are the same thing You dont really get carbon deposits on the valve seats... If anything easy start will loosen the deposits on the faces Sorry mate, just sounds like you're talking alot of shit
  22. I'm still on the case to see if I can buy that very wheel! If not I'll be building my own the same!
