  2. S-Club 7 - Reach For The Stars Coolio - Gansters Paradise A Tribe Called Quest - Can I Kick It?
  3. Not everyone has £10,000's to spend or is a car person..?

    Parcelforce

Hold on, the whole point of this thread was asking if you could stop a parcel being delivered, when infact you hadn't sent it when you'd already received your bits, then posted only some of the bits you'd agreed to exchange..? Why didn't you just send it back when you saw the damage instead of posting your stuff? You're doing yourself no favours in this argument. In any case, just swap back.

    Parcelforce

Keep the wheel, and find some other mug who wants to swap a bin liner full of shit for something decent, and hope you don't get sent shit in return this time

    Parcelforce

So keep the wheel? This is so petty, stop being a pair of little bitches and just swap back if it's all so bad!
  7. TVR Chimera? Perhaps a Tuscan? A 911? Maserati? 550bhp Skyline? Evo 9? E46 M3? And you're looking a Golfs and Clios? I wish I had that kind of money/sense balance!
  8. x2 For 16k you could have a mind blowing car (or 2), rather than a good one...

    Speeding Points

You could always just ask for the photos without saying anything about who was driving... I did and they sent me one crap quality picture with another car partially blocking mine, tried to argue, went to court, failed, fine went up to about £180 (I think, was a while ago...) oh well!

    Pathetic.

People actually accept tickets off the police when on a bike?! Just give them false details, they're not gonna check your reg plate to make sure or anything!

    Jobs.

My mate had been out of work for a year, I'd been out of work for 3 months, neither of us could bare the thought of having a job and working for 'the man' so we started our own business flocking dashboards for race/show cars. It's a bit slow at the moment but in 6 weeks we've nearly broken even (£1200 investment...) and we'll be in Max Power within the next couple of months
  12. Asda peppered steak slice, delicately microwaved served with jelly happy faces
  13. My old cat James, chose him when I was 4 and named him after the number 5 engine from Thomas the Tank (I always wanted a red cat...), had to have him put down when his kidneys failed when I was 20 and I don't think I've ever been so gutted He went missing for a week at one point and came back with a bloody mess the size of a golf ball for an eye, hence only having one eye, he was pretty scabby looking - he was actually just plain white but was always filthy as f**k
  14. There's a 486page long thread at the top of this section...

    Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday!!! Car or 2 for your birthday present?
  16. £2600 for insurance is VERY bad, especially for a Polo!!!!
  17. Rieger kit to be honest. Beaten to it
  18. That's what my Mondeo is as it happens, and no, it isn't better It's going to have engine in the front for the front wheels, and an engine in the back for the back wheels www.durocco.com
  19. Probably for the road (without the relevant safety tests), but it'll probably never be on the road again... Will be more of an experiment, if it works out we'll take it round Donington & maybe build a serious Ring tool with twin VR6, if not I've not lost anything I've been inspired by the Durocco
  20. Well it's MOT time and it won't pass another so I was going to cut it up to weigh it in anyway... My mate just crashed his MK3 so I've robbed all the wide track stuff off it so I have a spare subframe/hubs/wisbones/suspension etc... I have a spare 16v engine + box out of one of my old cars in my garage... .....
  21. You're fooling nobody, 16v's are just better all round - more power, more torque, more tuning potential, about the same MPG, better factory spec, arguably more reliable... And Tom_ 18-20 I was with Elephant with my mum and 2 sisters on the policy, 20-23 I've been with Adrian Flux and it's nearly renewal time again so I'll let you know how much it costs me ...Though thinking about it, I'll be insuring a Mondeo, not my Golf Golf is coming off the road for a big project!
  22. Never paid more than £1300 for insurance and I've been driving GTI 16v's since I was 18!
  23. So glad I'm not a new driver anymore, I'd be well pissed if I had to pay more than £400 for my 16v insurance
  24. eBay, it's the only place I can get jeans that actually fit! And at £5 a pair for Levi's you can't really go wrong
