The woman came out, explained everything has been cancelled for everyone and the police may be in touch because they're looking into it as fraud... Can't see that escalating much further than a threat

Have you cleaned your throttle body? Have you checked your spark system (assuming same as MK2 16v as most of it is) in particular the earths and hall sender plug on the dizzy (split/threadbare wires), that will cause all kinds of weird issues. Have you had the mixture setup properly? The WUR can cause issues, and failing that (have an extra triple check) vacuum leak somewhere. It's almost definitely one of the above, I'd be looking at hall sender and vac leaks, it's the problem 9 times out of 10

My car decided to have a bit of a weird day, decided to suddenly only make 8psi of boost before dumping the rest out of the screamer, until I switched it off and on again and it was back to 21psi, most bizarre, and the first time it's done it? Any ideas? This occurred after giving it the full 8000rpm in 3rd (which it's absolutely fine with in 1st and 2nd)... I would have been sprinting today too trying to crack 13's (14.2 was my best) but my car decided to start smoking heavily on Saturday night after a days sprinting! Seems to have cleared itself up though, I'll keep my fingers crossed as it needs to get me back to Cornwall in a couple of days!
