  1. Yep! I can't prove that I'm not the one screwing him other than the size of the box...
  2. You could post that as large letter, but he put it in one of those proper post box boxes you get at post offices and signed for so its irrelevant. £3.90 postage paid, falls within the same bracket
  3. No weight on the label either, its 2nd class standard £2.80 (which I think is <1kg, could be wrong) +£1.30 for signed, all the GoPros I've posted fall into that band unfortunately... Guy is called Andrius Stasiunas (presumably eastern European), and is from either 21 or 26 Richardson Close (says 26, but looks like he may have engaged brain and altered it...) Clifton, Notts, NG11 8RS, email is stasys696andius@gmail.com, seller ID is stasys696andius aaaand the listing (which contains little detail I know, I buy the badly described/wrong category ones to make money on, which has been fine until now) http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/261736112100that's all I got... And yeah, knocking on the door of a Russian sounding Clifton resident might be a bad move
  4. I'll see what eBay do about it, otherwise he's from Clifton, Notts which I about 15mins away from my parents where I'm about to move back to...
  5. Yeah opened a dispute as not as described, problem being it's a return dispute (the only option) so if the scammer is smart he'll accept a return and say I sent him CDs instead of GoPros... Anyone want Bob Marley live & a Victor Silvester (double CD!) for £500?
  6. Spent an hour on hold to PayPal before giving up, still have the packaging and the only defense that I'm not the one screwing him is that it was never big enough to fit 2 GoPros in in the first place and have started a return dispute under "not as described". Read his feedback this morning, he has one in the last week from a guy he sent a book to instead of a phone... I could really use not losing £500
  7. I've been screwed on eBay to the tune of £500... Ordered 2 GoPros to sell, guy sent me 2 CDs tracked and signed for so he can prove that the parcel he sent was delivered... ...I suspect this may be the first time in history eBay don't side with the buyer
  8. I think he fancies you.
  9. Cap off > lock to lock half a dozen times, job jobbed. Wheels should be in the air ideally, should never just steer on the spot but it doesn't really matter Also Dann36774223, do you record everything you do or what? I thought filming your day to day driving was odd, but phone calls?!
  10. It's you car n'all but that is really, really awful. Get it sent straight to the tip
  11. No, although if it has any sharp edges where it should be you might get pulled up on it.
  12. Oh god yeah, don't buy cordless. I wouldn't even buy top brand cordless stuff though, universally shite compared to something with wires.
  13. My first one lasted 12 years, my second is into it's 3rd year, both Argos finest £10 or less Same story for my angle grinders, I was gutted when the first one let go
  14. Go to Argos and get a £10 drill you skinflint
  15. The guy I took the Audi to has had his loan approved and it's going as soon as the cash is there
  16. Took my Audi for a guy up the road to look at, hes had loads of VAG in the past, goes to Inters religiously, runs a little flocking business as a side earner... he might be me
  17. What, a "what did you get for Christmas" thread right after Christmas containing answers to the question? No shit! Nobody. At least not anybody I know gives a shit about Jesus...
  18. I drove one of my old GTIs around for a month or 2 with the downpipe going straight to atmosphere, was loud enough to set off every car alarm on the streets leading up to my house and I always got in at 5-6am from my mates... Don't think I was the most popular person ever...
  19. Travel stuff - towels, camelback bag etc, chocs, wine and money And I bought myself clothes and a GoPro with all the trimmings
  20. F**k off Jardo, youre a pr*ck all year round, Christmas is an excuse for you to up the ante apparently, so theres that! I get to see all the people I seldom see the rest of the year, I dont hate any of my family, Im sorry for your miserable existence, merry Christmas
  21. Me too, high five! Although I mainly use Edition Still, youre wrong, skipping a gear (with matched revs) will do shit all to harm a gearbox
  22. Jardo, in opinion = fact shocker!
  23. The 1.8t is the clear choice, only other thing I could think to fit that criteria would be a CA18 Nissan engine, which is one of the worst engines ever made... I've had plenty sets of suspension do this, usually cut/lowered springs, never bothered me enough to sort it though
