  1. I really wouldn't worry about anything for half an hours hammering?! I took my Golf to the 'ring with very little thought and nailed it around for 9 laps (and it's steep if you haven't been!), the things that let me down were the oil temperature was mental high which didn't actually cause an issue but the stock water/oil exchange cooler was not up to the job at all, and the gearbox blew up, which wouldn't have been a maintenance thing anyway and was due to my mate changing gears like a shithead... The tyres on it at the time were not the best, and didn't really suffer in roughly an hour and a half of beasting them.
  2. Or just put the bike away for a bit, the love might come back, it might not but there's no point trying to force yourself to enjoy something you can't be arsed with anymore, there's plenty of other things to fill your time with!
  3. You have a Subaru now? What happened to the Italian joke?
  4. I took a job as a mechanic yesterday, I didn't want it as fixing cars in the cold is bad enough without going the whole hog doing it at a ski resort next to a nice big, flat, wide open airport, but the pay was ok. Today I got an offer working indoors selling parts to mechanics, for similar money, and the first guy was fine with that. Winner
  5. Oh yeah, as part of my tax cockup I mentioned, I needed my individual tax number to file a return, to obtain this I needed my partnership number, to obtain that I needed my individual tax number.... They flat out refused to tell me either of these numbers.
  6. If anything pushed the exhaust hard enough to bend the bumper and do that, the backbox would be hammered...
  7. Fix it, or ignore it. There's no way the exhaust did that anyway...
  8. Get some compensation, there's a proper procedure for it
  9. They did essentially the same thing to me a few years ago, no letters no nothing, suddenly a £1000 fine which they eventually wrote off, I went in person to the tax office and filled in the missing tax return there and then so they could mail it themselves to the correct department. A few weeks later a £2000 fine arrives for the same missing return, the lady who filled in the return with me got such a round of f**ks. I was also the only one man partnership in the UK somehow, f**k knows how they got that wrong?! Long story short, they f**ked it up so badly that they gave me £50 compensation for causing me stress
  10. Based on that "repair" I'd bin it and start again!
  11. Nowhere near as good as the picture, "passable" may be achievable if you spend some proper time on it... Why black?
  12. Now we have a week of "Pray for Brussels" all over social media to look forward to. Stop praying for anything, ever, religion is the problem in the first place!
  13. I've never heard of that being a thing? I literally just slopped it on like I was doing a garden fence, any overspill will wear itself off
  14. This, I've even just wire brushed them down and blasted with any old black spray paint (a couple of very thick coats a few weeks apart) with no issues/chipping/peeling whatsoever.
  15. http://www.paisleyfreight.com/bike-delivery.php Paisley Freight, every time. They just outsource it to whoever is cheapest but I've never yet had a problem with any of the stupid sized shit I've posted, including 10 ton car seats and fibreglass kayaks
  16. They're all wanky little hatches, I don't really think it makes a difference?!
  17. It's just the worst, I once left my Dragon95 with switched polarity coppermag Hades RFOs which was a bitch because of the semi transic half shaft orbiter it had AND (coincidentally) 100ml of juice! Is there nobody closer than 2 hours away that could have done you a dermal punch?! Did you get it done in the end?
  18. It's the same thing just the difference between pulling a piece of flesh out like an apple core to fit dermal anchor, or going all the way through as you are. That will hurt like f**king hell, good luck!
  19. What are you getting punched exactly? I did my arm so can't comment on cartilage.
  20. Doesn't hurt at all, tops of ears hurt much worse. I did my own dermals a few years ago, imagine a really concentrated Chinese burn
  21. if it's anything like the Deliveroo guys in Australia, they just sit around in parks/towns/anywhere with somewhere to sit until they get a text. One of the guys at work, also worked for a similar rival company who had just started up, his days mostly consisted of sitting at home in his work shirt watching Netflix
  22. The only way I've ever removed scratches is with cutting compound and a rag, worked just fine.
