  3. My mate just got one. It's really nice to ride, pretty light, but bit too long for me If you're small, get a short one
  4. www.overclockers.co.uk They do some quality pre built systems as a decent price, much better than any high street retailers.
  5. yeah they are definately open i bought an echo wheel off them about a week ago, their pretty good the wheel is a brilliant build and had no problems. So an all thumbs up Sam
  6. My little borther just got an Onza T-comp frame and I've been trying to sort it out for him. He also got a new echo fixed wheel which came with some snail cams which I hadn't used before. So I tried to put some onza chain tugs on which for some reason won't fit on this onza frame. So I put the wheel on and It was so far back the snail cams were no where near the bolts. So I took a link out the chain and moved it forward. I tightened It up and tried hopping on the back wheel, there was a nasty sound and the wheel had moved all the way forward. Then I realized that the brake pads were barely touching rim and they can't be moved any more to face it. I could really use some help with this please
  7. It's a Sunday, but if enough people can come on Saturday aswell I'll do both days Love Joe_ELding
  8. I shall be coming up for this, me, Joe Elding and my lil brother Ben are coming up from Woking, hopefully Adrian and Max aswell
  9. In my opinion people rely too much on their back brake, if you learn to ride without brakes you will be so much smoother and so much more controlled than before as there is NO room for error, when i first started my brake split and it took about a month before i got it sorted, during this month i could kickhop, sidehop gap etc. just aswell as i could before and it made me a lot more controlled because of it, i knew where my centre of balance point was and i knew what positions my body had to be in to keep it there obviously a brake helps but it it should only be used as a confidence booster and not heavily relied upon. If you ask most riders today to da five kickhop's brakeless they would fall flat on their ass..........
  10. The earlier(beginnin of 2005) t-mags had a poorly designed bash-frame attatchment and supposedly weak downtube, I know trialsboy560 dented his within a few days, however the newer ones are supposed to be better, matt Staples had one for a few weeks and didn't manage to dent it so it must be able to take some abuse
  11. Yeh i know him, he is really trustworthy and a genuinely decent guy, he is always really rushed off his feet at home though as he's normally babyitting his brother so never normally gets to be online for more than 5-10 minutes, i dont have his home number though if he comes online I'll get him to look at this topic. Also if this is about the t-bird hes selling you, hes sent it, i went with him to the post office on Saturday morning and he sent it special delivery so you should have it on Monday before 1pm
  12. I've been riding about a year now and can sidhope my brake lever height which is about 33'', my mate Joe Elding who is really good can sidehop 40'' after a year of riding. I find it really difficult to commit to sidehops, i go straight to backwheel, and sidehop towards my forwards foot and often find i am too scared to put effort in ad put my foot down before i have put any real effort into the take off I have been told i should sidehop the other way, yet it feels awkward just to go up a kurb that way Ahh well practice makes perfect i suppose..........
  13. If you're struggling to pull the front end up the forks won't have that much of a difference, it's not as if you're using lead forks or anything, it is more to do with the wheelbase of your frame and also length of chainstays, the shorter of both the better as you are closer to the axle which is the pivot point. A shorter stem would affect how it feels to pull up, i.e a shorter stem would pull up faster then a longer stem. As for forks i would reccomend either the onza smart guys or echo urbans, they are probably the forks of choice for most stock riders, available in both 4-bolt/vee and disc combination yet are also light and strong with fairly short legs aswell.

  19. If you're pedaling and your bike isn't moving sounds like you're freewheel or freehub skipping
  20. I'd like to see some good locations to go ride, however it would be nice if you could spread them around England so everyone can read about a place fairly close to them. Sounds like a great idea, love to see it happen! :S
