    Sidehops

i used to go to front wheel then lean over front wheel to fook to get back end up. but didnt like it and realised it looked wank so learned to go to 2 wheels hard to stop putting weight forward at first but then its mint.... easy as pie (not that pie is easy it hurts my teeth :D ) going to 2 wheels seem to require more power then frontwheel aswell as its all just one big hop.............rather then leaning ect ect plus not many people going big with sidehops go to front wheel, most go to 2 wheels. must be something in the water ^_^
  3. Righto just got a camera off one of my mates and its missing the dv out lead so need to know were i can get the dv out lead and firwire card for a Samsung VPD80 camcorder. (Y) any links/telephone numbers of appropriate companys/shops apprecciated! ;)
  4. in no particular order, these are my favourite, i know theres alot Tunnafish aka Tunni = so dam good, and chuffing powerful Cls = beast, 55" sidehops :- Ben@Hulltrials = like peanut butter, speads himself all over, not jus gaps n taps, it the full bananna, good at everything AND if youre better today, he will be better then you tommorow, hes determined. :D :P Porter = my age, my style, street Monster, drops anyone. Fletch = daring b*****d, done the water drop gap at bristol, 10ft high over water, damm it i wanted to do that first on 26".grrrrrr. no comps chomps, all mostly street demons :P :P :D :D :P B)
  5. im running Kot ms2 frame and echo stem 110mm (Y)
  6. Ronnie = 38mm rear doublewall rim Reggie=31mm front singlewall rim
  7. it was a planet x bmf (nitromorsed) with a mincer grind and tar, and brown koxx bloxx They do sound good aswell becuase at the Coust wall in Notts its undercover so it echoes (Y)
  8. in short....... ITS ACE! well more or less Everything improves or if it doesnt, it feels easyer as there more overall leverage. taps= around same, but bit flickyer. static gaps= way easyer and ive also found to land smoother now, and the "shoot through" which Adam mentioned helps as this turns into leg extention. Sidehops= i wouldnt say ive got 'much' higher, but i would say more consistant and it feels better as im now going to two wheels rather then front. hooks= not any difference at all, most say "oh its easyer as youre crank doesnt hit the wall" but this doesnt happen anyway if you do it right, and even if it did it wouldnt effect the actual motion of the hook, so on this one no noticable change, besides the front end comes up easyer, making the inital motion of getting front wheel over easyer. static gaps to front= way easyer as the bike wants to go to front because of the body position gained. :P :) :P
  9. some big moves there Dan B) (Y) liked the music, but letdown by the silly effect (imo) towards the end were ity pans out in a circle. good riding good music good editing (but not that effect) tip top
  10. Ive never ever cracked a set of 30" onza carbon risers :o honest :D ..................... After cracking a set of 30" beast bars i started to hear about alot of cracking stories >> "oh guess whos cracked there bars too" this obviously made me think the bars werent as strong as i once thought. so i was after change. I love the feel of the 30", but Ben (aka hulltrialser) has em on his steed and they've always felt better, so as a result i opted for zoo's. although i lost an inch of leverage over my previus bars they feel OUTSTANDING. for sure the best bars ive used. plus Mr scott said in sheff before that hed never cracked or bent any zoo bars. which ui now believe. :D Trav righto. the Zoos are wider = meaning more leverage = meaning more control and more pasties! the Zoos are comfyer = meaning your girly wrists wont hurt :P :D (Y) all in all Zoos rule!! B)
  11. Every saying "oh Dan has no style" is utterly wrong imo as he DOES, as he goes BIG and isnt at all rough infact most the time Dan is quite smooth ^_^ So he does have a style. To be honest most people are following the trend of cls /tunni by going huge ect ect and in my opinion there nothing wrong with that as it shows the riders influences. AND people saying "oh btw it would have been good if you did the sidehop after the rolling gap ect ect" thats the other problem most of them recomendations would have meant the lines were excessively long and wouldnt go with Dannys go big style. Dan i liked the Video and thought the song went well, BUT dont like the song. GOOD RIDING!!!
  12. As it says Huddersfield ride on Sunday 23rd !! should be coming with me (obviously) :- Damon Watson ont Kot Danny Burton ont Zoo Python Ben Lee ont Echo Team Randomer called Wayne ont Base ta26 and maybe a few others too, ont different trians. just gonna have a look what time trains are but aiming to be there for 11-12. :ermm: will post up later what time exactly. anyone fancy it??
  13. 14. tiz decent but for a guy like tunni i thought it wouldve been better (Y) abit to much gap to front backs and sidehops onto fences  overall a good video :)

  20. no i wasnt asking the people to whom it involves to post up, i was just asking if anyone knew for definate the answers to: tunnis sidehops? cls's static gaps? cousts taps? thats it. and if you were happy with youre own acheivements to post em up, e.g "hey i did my highest ever hoppedyside yesterday, it was"...................you get the idea (Y) and the the thing VVEERRYY curious of is who, and how high has someyone sidehopped to wheels up something, on a 26" ??? i mean u always hear of people go "oh well benito can do 57" but never of anyone on a big bike, surely tunni or hermance must have done 55"?
  21. As the title says i am curious at the level of riding and want to know a few things about a few certain top street riders. Craig Lee Scott: biggest static gap? Neil Tunni: biggest sidehop? Coustellier bros: biggest tap to backwheel? and need to know whats the highest people have heard of people hooking? partly bored ^^ partly curious^^ hmm (N) and your records follow!

    Ribo Shoes

the best shoes ive EVER used are by far the innopias, me and Dave@Tartybikes both have them and both agree they are the comfiest trainers ever!! got a real nice feal through the sole and just enough support. :$ £39.99  means their cheaper then most too, and come in a WIDE range of styles and sizes to suit. ^^^^non biased opinion too^^^^
  23. i used them in the front on a smooth rim and there awesome, about the same performance as zoo pads. :( BUT my left side pad ripped off for some reason, maybe just unlucky, but Dan t-lite had em in for a bit and had to cut em down for his silly thin forks so maybe he slipped and cut em abit dodgy :) :D lol tip top pads! opt for them in the front on smooth rim, and, plazz in back on a grind! :(
  24. well as it says, ive just got Sony Vegas 4.0 which i was happily using until i lost the serial number. sooo i need someyone to find me a serial number otherwise i cant use the program. :) cheers
  25. i was running 22-19no problems but the smaller the cog ont front the more leverage so i went 20-17. :P both with big fat 175mm tensiles. but soon ile be running 16-14 with 170, just for a laugh, to see what its like :D btw nice saying Trav :) :D :P uber cheeseyfied
