  1. Ermm.. if you want to run the whole way then no probaly not, but if you will just jog then walk you should finish. Plus if your racing her and she's been training you wont stand a chance. And then theres things like blisters to think about, if your running alot before hand you feet will toughen up if you dont then well it wont be comfertable at all. Oh and the guy was 101 which is even more incredible but he was an ex army PT instructor who will have been running way before our parents were even born.

  6. Muel I still think your best bet is to find a routine off the internet, like on bodybuilding.com. Just doing random exercises will do less for you than if you followed a renound routine such as rippetoes. Go here and fill in your goals and stuff and it will bring up some decent workouts.

Yeh it's culture difference more than anything, from what it seems American/ Canadian highschool really put some effort into getting students to lift. where as over here or at least on the Isle of man they couldn't care less. Plus I seriously doubt in my year, that anyone can bench over 70kg, one rep, maybe apart from manxtrialzspaz on here, and Id say 90% of the rugby team don't even know what a deadlift is. I blame it on the english football culture.
  8. Thats basically what I did, minus the raisons and sultanas. I usually make it ok, but god knows what I did wrong today lol. And muel, does any one spot you? Having someone there will boost your confidence and you will probaly lift more.
  9. Finally went to a proper gym, so much better than a weights bench at home. Now sat down with protein shake and oatmeal... although I haven butcherd the oatmeal and its like glue.
  10. Sailed from Heysham to the Island from 2am to 6am today, never had so much fun. Force 9's rule . The kitchens and shop on the boat got trashed. So many plates and stuff smashed. It's not windy at all here though now.
  11. mixed martial arts and rugby mainly, actaully way more than I ride trials now. Would love to go skiiing more often though, but its 2 flights 'cos I live on an island so it costs loads.

  13. Lightweight in boxing. Bantam weight in mma. Theres far to many weight classes in boxing.

  16. Go run outside... treadmills drain the life outa me where as I love running outside because theres stuff going on and the terrain varies.

  18. Random fact: My history teacher worked at the school where the whole muhammed the bear thing happend. He got 12 teddy's for christmas surprisingly enough.
  19. Finally got my arse into gear and lifted again today, the rest/lazyness did me good, everything was a lot easier today Need a proper squat rack now though, or at least sumthing higher...
  20. I love turkish get ups, I just tried a few before. They are so tiring, can just do 3 with 10kg lmao.
  21. If your doing that many reps and still nothing the weight isnt heavy enough. And biceps are useless muscles theres no need to be doing 3 types of curls lol.
  22. Pull ups, nothing compares. If you have some where you can do them or put a bar up. Other wise just doing random press-ups to be honest won't do very much, obviously it's better than nothing, but to gain strength they are pretty un-effective. IMO you really need to get some weights to make real strength gains.
  23. I do 3x5 at 25kg, so It's better than me lol. Then again I'm scrawny.
