  1. Rockman are meant to be working on a 19" tyre - but when that will be seen I have no idea.
  2. In short: Renault know what they're doing. Boy racers who put cars on the floor don't. I can do the long version later if you want, that's if Robin doesn't see this and post before me
  3. As a note, Donington is a 'premium' track, you can do a track day at somewhere like Blyton Park, near Gainsborough (which arguably is a better venue for a first timer) for ~£119. Good stuff, that's what it's all about! Sweet, still very tempted, got an endurance race in a couple of weeks though so will see how that goes first...
  4. Haha. Yeah I can't think of a car that wouldn't be flat through Hollywood, so we'll call it a straight! Craner should be flat too in most cars. Old Hairpin is an important one for MX5s yeah, really gotta carry speed cos of the hill. You can turn in much earlier and carry more speed than you think. If you aren't on the kerb and fighting to keep off the grass on the exit, you're too slow.
  5. All that "man boost" and still a few seconds slower than a hairdresser Wish I could've come along today, looked like you had a good un! Stupid work.
  6. The amount of lever travel should be the same as the front, if not then something's not right.
  7. I do know what you mean - that is 'fixed' on open system brakes, you can't change it unless you have a lever with bite point adjustment. This distance is also affect by brake setup (parallel rotor, pads the same distance from both pads, etc).
  8. There's no tricks to bleeding them, but you must bleed them 'properly' - that is, as Hope say, not like a Shimano or other brake:
  9. That's really cool. 3D printer eh, I'm sure you'll find loads of superfluous uses for that now
  10. Maybe if the car weighs loads and has lots of suspension travel you need something special, but I'm pretty sure mild will be fine. Have bought steel anyway, will do the calculations later
  11. Its pretty simple, just a bent bit of bar if you think about it. There's some maths involved but nothing too tricky. The last one I made was straightforward (will find a link if I can), but the plan is now to make a pair of bladed ones. Edit, can't believe this was over 3 years ago! http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic/89420-front-anti-roll-bar/
  12. What bar and stem is on the bike at the moment?
  13. Removed anti roll bars from my car, definitely has more grip, awesome! Little bit unresponsive during direction changes though, so time to make some which are a more suitable stiffness...
  14. Haha. Sounds like my mum. Sets all the clocks in the house 15-20 mins fast cos she's always late, but then knows the clocks are fast so ignores them / factors it in and is always late anyway
  15. Nice one. Very tempting! I was gonna say no chance if it was Javelin or something, but Circuit Days are run well... I'll have a think / penny count.
  16. Hrrmm... Possibly. Who's it with?
  17. You won't regret it, best track in the country IMO.
  18. What have you done with Jardo, Jardo?
  19. You have a Clio, you should know
  20. Get someone to stamp on your foot.
  21. Seems like there's plenty of interest then, and we should definitely be able to get 10 people (Prawn included )!
  22. And that's why I couldn't do your job (morally) I agree that retards pick from choices better than if they are given a free reign, though.
