  1. Could always put the standard spoiler back on, at least that will match (and look loads better too )

Funny how they wouldn't when it actually had some sort of impact on anything...
  4. Trialtech will be fine, that amount of variation in chainline doesn't matter at all.
  5. And there's no 'the'! Just spent about an hour playing Road Rash, awesome
  6. Haha. It is a very nice thing to do, can't deny that
  7. You mean she's got an internet connection?

I see what you mean. My brain doesn't have enough power currently to explain what I'm trying to think, I'll try again later.

Quite like the double points idea but I think it should be used in a higher number of races, so if you have a mechanical / end up somewhere near Maldonado you still have a few chances to beast the points.
  10. Can I have my 5 mins back please?

  12. It'll either be... - Bolts are too tight (undo then and just nip them up VERY gently, it doesn't have to seal under pressure, only gravity) - Excess fluid, wipe off and away you go
  13. Had a positive reply with a number to call to discuss. Will get onto that asap
  14. That's cos you're a dick though, nothing to do with fixing their car
  15. It does genuinely work. The amount of cars my father in law used to 'fix' by doing it is unreal! Granted that was 20-30 years ago but it still applies...
  16. Good thinking - Italian tune-up time
  17. If you spend most of your time and money cleaning it, you're wasting time and money you could be spent maintaining it mechanically, which is the important bit A car is a mechanical device which has a purpose, it's not a cosmetic accessory (IMO!).
  18. Ditto! And I'd never touch a car that's been detailed to within an inch of its life.
  19. I don't think you should worry too much about the brand or model, all cars have 'common faults', but a good example of a 'poor' car will be better than a f**ked example of a 'better' car (if that makes sense). Buy on service history and reliability, that's all you want from a first car - for it to be reliable and not cost you time / money fixing it all the time. That sort of outlay will waayy outstrip it being 5mpg worse on fuel, a bit more for insurance / tax or whatever. Also agree that 15 miles a day you want a petrol. Edit: And a short vid from last night, testing out my new home-made anti roll bars. Chuffing slippery conditions, the dark / floodlights and 14 (!) different types of tarmac made the track fairly 'interesting'...
  20. When's Ep8 out Danny, any idea?
  21. Agree with what Ross has said! Having family / friends in place to take over will definitely help you. No animals allowed on site - this has been a pain in the ass for me for years! Dog flaps and a decent garden for the win...
  22. Scary one, that's for sure. Would say 80% skill and a bit of luck thrown in. I had a very very similar moment at Anglesey last week and just by letting go of the wheel and applying the brakes the car pulled itself straight. I was heading for wet grass and a marshals post just shy of 100mph at one point though!
  23. Is that even possible without falling over all the time
