  1. Yeah my Clio also clonked at low speed when there was quite a lot of steering lock on.
  2. Haha, yeah Stan's might have a crack...
  3. And at 25 secs - I think that clunk was the camera hitting him, haha. Trip out with these next time you're about
  4. Thread resurrection! Made some trikes... Went slidey slidey... Great fun
  5. It definitely has! Sorry to hear about your bike C.U.N.T.S is all I say!
  6. Any chainring will be fine, I like steel ones cos you can bend them back when you land on them

    F1

Ah, that would explain it, yeah. Guess they have been allowed to let the wheels over-rotate compared with the axle at the moment to help with rear locking.

That is an interesting one - there must have been some pseudo-abs systems lurking around if they have done that... As you said, maybe a sort of centrifugal clutch mounting for the brake disc. Crafty.
  9. Strange, there are no railway crossing barriers at Heysham port... (did a lot of driving lessons around there). Still, drink driving = fail.
  10. What it says on the tin Features Vincent, Abel, Stan, Matt Arkwright, Ben Slinger, Cap, Joe Maher and more. Enjoy!
  11. Buying a new toy car instead of a house?
  12. Isn't that Danny Kearns?
  13. Might do, worth a shot, be prepared for a potential chain snap though.
  14. Yeah race tracks generally are, the tarmac gets polished up over the years. Those were the same conditions as the first lap in the video too, you have to be pretty 'accurate' with your inputs to stop the car getting lairy!
  15. Lasted well over 6 months I think, carbon tube split due to my fail in how I cut it.
  16. That would be a cracking 'fun' daily. Mate has a 330d without a map and it will waft you along at a highly reasonable pace in a very lazy way, can only imagine the torque from a mapped 335! Track day went well... got some instruction from a chap who raced F1 in the 70s (Mike Wilds) and is currently in his 50th year of paid racing! He was very complimentary about how well the car was set up and even about my driving. Got some good tips too about how to improve too, which luckily were easy enough to be able to act upon straight away - a noticeable difference immediately. The home made anti roll bars I mentioned a while back are in their 4th or 5th iteration now and to have a comment like that from someone who definitely knows their onions were very positive! Track was a classic December Oulton Park ice rink in the morning then it ended up nearly dry last thing, great fun and nice to have a full range of conditions to keep things interesting Just checked the datalogger and just after lunch while it was just about drying a bit ish, lap times were only 2s down on last time I was there in the bone dry, chuffed!
  17. Tarty video, or new Trialtech tool: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/155894-new-from-trialtech/?p=2618286 Love it when bike shops break chain whips trying to remove sprockets, you can tell them as many times as you like that it won't work but they keep trying!

Yes. If anyone asks if it's going to come in 24" as well, I'll post them a turd!
