Cheers dude! Use the A51 then A515 if coming from the North?
-
Cheers dude - that's exactly what we wanted it to be about / to do. Maybe we need to encourage more MTBers to have a crack next time We will definitely be making the speed bonus a lot harder to obtain so smashing through white route on an MTB could be pretty good fun and still get decent points...
-
On that subject... ideally everyone will need to be around for half 8 ish. There will be some organising to do before we get cracking at 9. It's a pretty random little place to find, I strongly recommend using the following instructions as I got totally lost using a sat nav when I went: http://user28967.vs.easily.co.uk/location-of-curborough-sprint-course/ Here it is on Google Maps: https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?daddr=Wood+End+Ln&hl=en&ll=52.713588,-1.80562&spn=0.011413,0.033023&sll=51.486728,-2.582474&sspn=0.187704,0.528374&geocode=FRVaJAMdfYPk_w&mra=mr&t=m&z=16 Don't forget Birmingham rush hour traffic when calculating your travel times!

This. And it's slightly longer, about 7mm from memory.
-
Run off is fairly minimal...
-
Gopher it The way it works at Curborough is that everyone just does X (usually 2 or 3) amount of laps and then comes in for the next person to go out, what you do while you're out there is up to you
-
Yeah, and an RB. Fitting a lever blade is very easy, you don't need to re-bleed the system(s), simply un-bolt and re-bolt. You should be able to work it out no problem
-
I have a stopwatch, a whiteboard on an easel, some drywipe markers and a load of shiny white magnetic strips from Tarty Days... just sayin'... If nothing else it'll be good for people to see their progress throughout the day Will book when you confirm Nick, that will make 10 so nobody is paying more than they wanted / agreed to, and if a couple more tag on at a later date we can accommodate
-
Luke, my PMs are disabled, but fire us an email if you want me to get moneys to you in advance
-
Yeah, I've had one of the protos - awesome.
-
Anyone else think this looks absolutely awesome? Very very rarely do a look at a car and go 'wow, I love that', but I keep returning to pictures of this new Cayman. Manual gearbox, 385bhp from a 3.8L flat 6, yum. http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/porsche-cayman-gt4-revealed-2015-02-03

Star man, hugs for Luke!

Cheers dude, so... 1. Rainbird 2. Pete 3. Dann27089461£8284 4. Mike (Who's not really a "Mad Man", he made bad choices 13 years ago) 5. RobinJI 6. Haz 7. Kennard 8. Tarty Adam 9. Azarathal Mike Possibles 10. Prawn? (11.) crashbanggg? Right then, if Prawn says yes we have 10 and it's £65 each. If you're all cool with that I'll go ahead and book. Luke - if you are offering to collate deposits / moneys I won't say no, haha, thank you David, the owner, has said we can pay in cash on the day which is why I didn't ask for full payment in advance - hope that makes sense...
-
Ouch... Well built ones that people don't try to squeeze too much power out of are fine it seems, but they are better n/a anyway
-
Right then, had one interested on the Westfield forum but it's not a definite. Haven't got time to try other forums, if we want to do this we need to get it booked this week. 1. Rainbird 2. Pete 3. Dann27089461£8284 4. Mike (Who's not really a "Mad Man", he made bad choices 13 years ago) 5. RobinJI 6. Haz 7. Kennard 8. Tarty Adam (if I'm needed to make up numbers) Possibles 9. Prawn? 10. Azarathal Mike? (11.) crashbanggg? (12.) Please let me know asap people!

TartyBikes Open Trial - Shipley Glen, 14th September
AdamR28 replied to AdamR28's topic in Trials Chat
Oops, completely missed this until now! There are plans to do another but nothing concrete yet. It very much depends on the rest of the calendar and when we have free weekends. Have just stuck up a video from the first one here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/189935-tartybikes-open-trial-video/ -
Towards the end of last year we ran an experimental format competition at Shipley Glen, which we named the Open Trial - here's the video! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2g8eox_tartybikes-open-trial_sport We've had to use Dailymotion as both Vimeo and YouTube are whinging about music copyright... Sorry. You might be able to skip the adverts by going straight to the URL: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2g8eox_tartybikes-open-trial_sport There are plans to do another but nothing concrete yet. It very much depends on the rest of the calendar and when we have free weekends. We'll post details as and when Cheers, Adam
