  1. Yep, good to go. The people who tell you otherwise likely have no control over how much torque they are applying to their fixings
  2. Chicken dinner - thanks a lot.
  3. As above, have worked well for me, never broken one in probably 5 or 6 years.
  4. Happy to liaise with David, it's nice and easy, just a few phone calls - but - if you are up for bean-collecting again that would be mega?
  5. I know what you mean But if you want to do shit, no f**ker else will do it, so you have to crack on! On that subject, I just tried David but he's upside down in the footwell of a car so naturally can't get to his diary, but I'll call him back tonight.
  6. Grey wheels with loads of spokes, all the same to me
  7. Could just get the current wheels straightened and refurbed?
  8. Looks good like that IMO!
  9. It would look shit and ride even worse. In terms of gearing, you would end up around the same as you'd fit less tall tyres.
  10. Yep! http://www.cliosportoc.com/images/clio-cup.jpg 11 spokes vs 12... The colours look good like that though, and 15" wheels are obviously better than 16s
  11. We can do them, but they make the brake feel sluggish.
  12. Strong and stiff, but spokes are expensive.
  13. Shoulda just bought a 172 Cup, lol...
  14. Think we have some that went to TartyDays and need to go back in stock, give us a call tomorrow
  15. Exactly my point. The harder you use brake pads, the faster and batter the resins crosslink. Problem is if Mrs Jones does that she suffers green fade and crashes.
  16. You are meant to do the rotors slowly, but for the pads I just reckon its a 'safety' thing, like why they say not to rev a new car hard for X miles.
  17. The £32 a set (full car) Apec pads I fit to my race MX-5 go out straight into quali with no bedding and cause no long term problems, they do stop working after a couple of laps (green fade) but you learn to live with that as they do come back in again
  18. Plan man. Can't advise on the fan, sorry...
  19. Fan I'd say, given that the rad is efficient enough to cool the vehicle at road speed even at higher revs.

  21. I would agree with this...
  22. And if it rains you're f**ked There seems to be enough interest for a bike day, give David Pattison a call on 07976 878652 or 01543 432607.
  23. At least you can put the pads straight in the bin.
