  1. Could just get the current wheels straightened and refurbed?
  2. Looks good like that IMO!
  3. It would look shit and ride even worse. In terms of gearing, you would end up around the same as you'd fit less tall tyres.
  4. Yep! http://www.cliosportoc.com/images/clio-cup.jpg 11 spokes vs 12... The colours look good like that though, and 15" wheels are obviously better than 16s
  5. We can do them, but they make the brake feel sluggish.
  6. Strong and stiff, but spokes are expensive.
  7. Shoulda just bought a 172 Cup, lol...
  8. Think we have some that went to TartyDays and need to go back in stock, give us a call tomorrow
  9. Exactly my point. The harder you use brake pads, the faster and batter the resins crosslink. Problem is if Mrs Jones does that she suffers green fade and crashes.
  10. You are meant to do the rotors slowly, but for the pads I just reckon its a 'safety' thing, like why they say not to rev a new car hard for X miles.
  11. The £32 a set (full car) Apec pads I fit to my race MX-5 go out straight into quali with no bedding and cause no long term problems, they do stop working after a couple of laps (green fade) but you learn to live with that as they do come back in again
  12. Plan man. Can't advise on the fan, sorry...
  13. Fan I'd say, given that the rad is efficient enough to cool the vehicle at road speed even at higher revs.

  15. I would agree with this...
  16. And if it rains you're f**ked There seems to be enough interest for a bike day, give David Pattison a call on 07976 878652 or 01543 432607.
  17. At least you can put the pads straight in the bin.
  18. Did think it sounded cheap, but alas I cannot unfortunately.
  19. Mondays are out unfortunately, due to work (busiest day of the week).
  20. One of the best IMO! Grab a B&B, I promise it'll be worth it
  21. Yeah, we have been trying to think of somewhere else too, for a few reasons. We even considered trying to build a trials park just for Tarty Days this year, but the venue was double booked (and I wasn't 100% keen on the idea!). There's Bob MacGregor, but without having been there myself I don't know how well it would lend itself to an event like Tarty Days. Something different - yes, it could be awesome - but when there needs to be a 'group' atmosphere for a few of the mini-events I think it could be too spread out. Would people be up for something like this at a natural spot? Tech 04 was awesome for those who remember that far back, and Bracken Rocks was a good venue.
  22. Have just booked a track day at Cadwell for Tuesday 16th June, in case anyone else fancies it... http://www.msvtrackdays.com/car/calendar/2015/june/16-cp-gen.aspx
  23. This, and support the extension bar that goes from the socket to your breaker bar with an axle stand...
