  1. Yeah, that was ace. Not one single f**k given about mechanical sympathy there, haha.
  2. Therein lies an issue with the whole 'bashring with a lip / stub to stop it rotating' thing - all cranks are different, so creating a bashring that sits in a reasonable place across all models of crank is tricky without making it look turd...
  3. From my point of view... there are already way too many! Can't think of any innovations you could realistically bring in, obviously Milky Way tried with the Gummy but it was just too expensive / heavy.
  4. I meant to come home with trophies, no point competing if you're not trying to win!
  5. I haven't, I don't know if it would actually get up the hill Plus hillclimbing / sprinting is just a case of who has the biggest wallet.
  6. Sounds good Tyres... You will mostly feather the edges of the tread blocks, but if you 'budget' for about 2mm wear on the fronts that should do you just fine. Rears will hardly wear apart from the outer edge of the left rear. Brake pads varies quite a lot depending on a few things, but half material should be plenty. Worst case pop out to a motor factors and grab a new set at lunch.
  7. I've never heard of anything like that before! Must be something to do with their insurance... I've not been to Llandow, it looks 'OK' but tends to kill front left tyres apparently, which makes sense looking at the track layout. Definitely cheap though, and should be a bit more relaxed than the 'proper' circuits. How far is Anglesey for you? It has more run off than Oulton and will be cheaper, but the track surface is fairly abrasive and hard on tyres if its dry. I'd say both Anglesey and Oulton have a good mix of fast and slow stuff, you'd enjoy either and as long as the car has fresh fluids it will easily take the 'abuse'. Just be prepared to get the bug
  8. Its the best track in the country IMO, not really a 'novice' circuit but as safe as any if you drive to the conditions Where are you based? If you do head to Oulton and I'm free I don't mind heading down for the day to give some pointers
  9. Clios are best on 15s, that's a fact.
  10. Well it was one of those...
  11. Well, you won't lose money on it at £600, so get it done...
  12. I know nothing about turbo conversions (and don't desire to learn), but 'monster racecar' makes it sound like a piece of shit.

With additional cooling they could charge / discharge the batteries faster though, I think?
  14. Yup, they are. Even better, nice one! Nah, those wheels will be fine, unless one of your tyres is really worn or something.
  15. Sounds perfect, make sure you have a curry the night before so it tastes good.
  16. The later (1994 onwards) were the 440mm cats so sounds like it should fit yours....
  17. Is yours a pre 1994 Eunos? I have a manifold sat next door, can get measurements off that if you need...
  18. Sounds cheap that, hope it fits! Dannnnnnnnn2790209087283709830569387592345872345734236, are you still doing injector cleaning? How much is it? Ta!
  19. Get the geo checked too...
  20. Haha, sounds awesome. Cars you don't have to give a shout about are the bestest. Make sure you give it a good Italian tune-up
  21. On a similar note, I was keeping an eye out for cars for you and saw a nice looking 02 plate Almera somewhere around here for £520. Mum had one for a few years and it was mega reliable. Forgot where it was located though. You're welcome. (I'm sure I could find it again if you wanted! Haha)
  22. Today's office... Not as glamorous as it seems, haha, was up at half 5 and completely bolloxed now.
  23. Crikey. My first guess was some sort of bouquet!
  24. What the hell is that?
