And a no needle bearing under the freehub - the important bit! (Pro2 has a steel freehub body)
  2. The Fourplay is absolutely nothing like an ET frame in terms of construction. Yes, in essence it's a few tubes holding together a head tube, dropouts and a bb shell but if you can't see / appreciate the differences then stick with the cheaper frames The Arcade bars might feel weird to you, that's fine (I agree!), don't buy them, but loads of others do love them
  3. I haven't... not the sort of job I'm inclined to do. Would swap it for one from a breaker or get the gaffer tape out
  4. I didn't win your undying love
  5. Porsche 911 964 model was released in 1974? Something to do with Porsches anyway...
  6. Price should be similar to other current carbon forks, weight is stated on the Echo site as: Weight: 518g for 20'', 582g for 26''.

If we have some, they'll be on the site. That's fair enough, but you'll spend more on an inferior item, we're trying to save you money!

King or Hope are your two realistic, proven, reliable choices. I would go for the Hope.

Nah, it was a DiscGoTech. This is the ISO:

    Get the ISO version then.
  14. 20" and 26", Disc only and 4-Bolt only (4 different options).
  15. Difficult to say for certain with the small pictures, we have some on the way though
  16. They don't 'need' any modification, we just choose to do it to make them better. We machine the groove in the piston so the wiper isn't as tight / sticky, remove threadlock from pivot pin, grease everything, lube piston.
  17. There has only ever been one version, but never had a problem with any of ours... although we do modify and fully rebuild them before dispatch. (Tensile, this is.)
  18. Well, I'm glad I was slack with sending those details over Luke I've just had a call from David who was very apologetic - he's double booked 7th August The other booking is from the Porsche club and requested the date before us, so you can guess the outcome... The alternatives within the next few months are are: Tues 4th August Tues 18th August Mon 24th August (although I can't make this one) Weds 9th September (I can't make this one either) Thurs 10th September Friday 2nd October (although I might not be able to make this one either) Sorry about this... The good news is he said he'll do us some discount for the next booking we make.
  19. I'm either a maths spastic or I put some fuel in my car without realising, or it did 36mpg on the last tank... weird... 444km from 34l, win!
  20. You are aware that Dannnn27032303405 posts on this forum, yes? (Sorry Dan, haha, that was just set up too well)
  21. Now you know how we feel
  22. I knew there would be some K-Tec tax, but f**k me that's expensive! Might as well just buy a half cage. Cars looking sweet Haz, be interesting to see how much quicker you and Dan are this time! Edit: harness angle might just be 'passable' on your car Dan: http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/3806/harness.jpg
  23. Pretty much... On a frontal impact the tension in the belt is split into a vertical and horizontal component. Obviously you need something to keep you in the seat, but too much of an angle (20 degrees is the maximum IIRC) isn't good for your spine with all that compression. (Edit, Tom's post came through as I was writing mine) Harnesses are 'becauseracecar' but turning up at scrutineering with harnesses like that would mean no racing! Ideally need a harness bar or a cage...
  24. I LOLd at the last photos. We need x ray photos to see any difference there Seats look decent though, should be looaaddsss better. Did you manage to keep standard belts in? Got any plans for getting the shoulder straps to a sensible angle?
  25. Ah well, glad it's all getting sorted!
