We were only at 3 with less than a month to go, then another 20 signed up within a few weeks! And yes, getting admin done in advance will really help.
Hopefully a few of those going to the training will stick around for the national, too
Thanks guys - just a heads up that the training day is now full. We have had a good response to this and want to make sure we can get round everyone!
Cheers,
Adam
A tweaked AFM. Take it somewhere that knows what they are doing, or give me a shout, I've been playing around with them recently and pretty sure I know exactly what BLiNK do and charge £100 for. 14 degrees isn't necessarily the best, it's just a safe 'average'.
Have a read of this: http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=112653
I would have a supercharger over a turbo if I had to go FI, but as said there is more knowledge around turbos...
You can do some pretty good NA tuning on the MX-5, but it sounds like a small turbo is what you're after Mike. Even 5psi would put it up to about 150bhp.
Kings are actually pretty high - about 31mm, some are as low as 20. Stack heights are listed on all our headsets: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/standard_headsets/c19.html
Lowest is the Trialtech Sport Lite I think, at 20mm.
It's a good point - but a shame if we have to state the obvious. It would make any website a pretty tedious place to be
The Hashtagg cranks are a different product entirely, maybe they are light AND strong? It does happen, but generally only following a few months / years of testing and with decent design / manufacturing process.
What I was about to add. Some companies (the ones who do things properly) will be developing such a thing, but it takes time - a lot more than just boshing out a CNC crank with no testing!
Looks high on the front right... Was your equivalent weight in the drivers seat?
Interesting how the rear figures change without any adjustments being made!
Glad to hear it feels better though, did have a lot of toe in before which always feels weird!
^^ True. The 'failsafe' is to buy heavier parts, since in most cases that will increase strength / durability even if the design / testing isn't as advanced as MTB stuff (quite rightly due to budget / order quantities, as you said).
