  1. The start is good (seeing the 'unadulterated' laps), the end is good (all 3 cars on track hooning), the middle is less interesting but it was cool to hear about the subtle differences between them. Chris Harris was racing with us the other weekend, he is surprisingly slow - his comment along the lines of 'nobody could go more than a few tenths faster than the times I just set' made me chuckle. http://www.theresultslive.co.uk/mission-motorsport-race-remembrance/2015-race-remembrance/day-qualifying-1 http://www.theresultslive.co.uk/mission-motorsport-race-remembrance/2015-race-remembrance/night-qualifying-1 Mark Willets (qualified next to him in both day and night quali) is one of the guys who races with us, he was 4 or 5s a lap slower than the sort of pace Bessell ran at the same weekend. That Mk4 Harris was in has been hugely tweaked too, 160bhp: https://www.facebook.com/missionmotorsport/photos/a.1025848040791177.1073741872.291621860880469/1025848950791086/?type=3&permPage=1
  2. Old / f**ked tyre or underinflation, usually.
  3. The van was pretty tricked out, rear ARB full cage, etc. There was one racing last weekend too, I reckon they can be pretty quick if set up right. Ah, small world King! Should have come and said hello. What were you in? The rain made the day for me, I love it
  4. Glad you seem to be sorted now Mike! In related news, Donington was great fun today:
  5. Get the crank journals measured up before you go any further. And buy a new OE oil pump to fit when it all goes back together, even if the current one is within spec. Don't ask me why I'm recommending this...
  6. They don't have a specific model name, so we tended to call them '2005 disc front' and '2005 screw on rear'.
  7. 7005 does over the course of around 3-4 months, but I don't believe 6082 does... worth having a look on matweb.com though.
  8. Great work Got someone to do the heat treating for you?
  9. If anyone fancies a bright orange toy with a mega soundtrack, give me a shout - got loads more pics and info... Price: under £5k.
  10. What's it for? That stuff on eBay: TEMPERATURE : -25 TO +55c
  11. Ah - yes - I am certain it'd be different in that case!
  12. @RobinJI, did anything ever come of this?
  13. Nice, look forward to seeing what you come up with! Bought a set of wheels for the Fury, they came with tyres, turns out they were pretty shagged (old and hard). Could tell on the first roundabout but by then I was already on the way to the track... Was a bloody handful, spun for the first time in ages Haha. Still fun though! http://youtu.be/OIw_DkCxtws https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OIw_DkCxtws What an I doing wrong? I'm sure this used to work on the old forum?
  14. And if she's playing games now, the guessing games will only get worse in the future... Avoid imo.
  15. Sapim Laser. Edit: At reasonable money...
  16. That one doesn't load at all for me...
  17. Wedding anniversary... I'm there 14th Nov instead.
