  1. Spokes won't fit, sorry. The rim's ERDs are too different.
  2. Mini Cassette? Pretty much the same hub dimensions as the King (Y) 3 cross - sorry. Ads
  3. You have a King BMX hub, yeah? Spoke calculator comes out with 180/179... so, 180 should be fine!
  4. Indeed it does :) hehe Any idea what length spokes you have now Will? Let me know, and i'll do some maths (Y)
  5. Roughen up all the surfaces with some sandpaper? Also make sure theyre free of grease etc...
  6. Down hill, with a gale blowing behind them (Y)"
  7. Does your current DX32 have eyelets or not? The Echo rim ideally needs spokes that are approx 1.5mm shorter (if your DX32 is eyeletted). This'll come down to 1mm if you currently have eyelets. Cheers, Adam
  8. Its not really as simple as that unfortunately, theres a few other things you need to take into account. But, to half-answer your question, they need to flex, as its the flex that keeps your wheels straight.
  9. As far as I understand, you send back your dead helmet, and you get a replacement for a reduced cost. Check Giro website for more details (Y)
  10. Snapped frame? (Y) Twas a broken BB that caused foot-death :D
  11. I guess it depends how the course is designed, true, they'd pull different lines. Just... hard to explain... these people haven't been in trials for years, and made a living from it, competed in world championships etc. Theyre damn good riders, but I personally wouldnt class them as the best EVER!
  12. Thats what cheap (approx 30%) crash replacement is for! Ideas: try loads on, see what fits best - its the ONLY way!
  13. Not trying to 'pick' on anyone here, or put anyone down - but, how can these riders be compared!? Tim, Elliot etc... are very good UK street riders, but, if you stick them in the bike show arena with the likes of Giaco Coust, Dani Comas or Vince Hermance, they'd be lost! (Y)
  14. Hehe, its certainly not down to the hub, theres no way it can make that much difference (Y)
  15. Hmm, I wouldnt say it works like that. The teeth skip over each other more the faster you go - just another clever thing about the design. Id be more 'worried' about bearing drag, since you'll need to put about 1000 miles on a pair of hubs to fully bed them in (Y) I assume the hubs arent for a road bike... so... why is rolling resistance a problem? The extra weight of a stealth would hold you back more...
  16. And i bet loads of other people would too! I seriously think that'll sell :P

    Ymsa Trials

I'd recommend Inter (N) They make it relatively easy at the start of the season, and then gradually increase the difficulty to try and get people to move to Expert the season after. My first comp - came last in inter, had an awesome time, got hooked, and won 4 rounds later :P See you there!
  18. Yes - sealed cartridge and bushing (same design as a DMR V12) Yes - its a magnesium die casting, cromoly steel axle, and sealed cartridge bearings, with a nice grey paint over the top... not many pedals have those features for £40. Koxx think they're worth £80 either way... Not really - if you bash them, it can damage the actual pedal body itself - just like any other pedal which uses grub screws for pins. Adam
  19. ISIS only for the Tensiles (N) Depends what size chainring you're gonna run, but you can't go wrong with 128mm really - will definitely clear!

  21. Video back up! http://www.tartybikes.co.uk Cheers, Adam
  22. Currently uploading to our own webspace, should be a new link up before 5pm :o Cheers, Adam
  23. Look a bit like Turbines to me, but im not very au fait with RaceFace stuff.
  24. Don't buy the Koxx ones then - £80, haha. I think theyre an awesome pedal if your riding style agrees with them :o
