  1. I was going to call it The Badger, but Daisy is good too... Nice little lot you've got there Paul!
  2. It's actually a bit sheddy in terms of cosmetics, but that suits me fine, I feel less bad about abusing it that way The bits on it are solid though, and it has a few nice 'surprises' that weren't on the listing... like 4 pot alloy calipers on the rear, a nice ATB limited slip diff and a billet sump. The last one I had was probably a bit less nice than this one and it could have sold 5 times over at £5k, had 3 enquiries about it in the last week
  3. It's very likely you did! Auction finished on Sunday night.
  4. I did... this one has the same 'problem', easy solution with a hacksaw and a bit of welding!
  5. A week late for TFTD2, that's what It's a Fisher Fury, Honda Fireblade engine, with a lot more nice bits than the eBay listing stated...
  6. Nah, you need help. As do I...
  7. Anything else changed at the same time? The cranks shouldn't make any difference. Pictures?
  8. Trudat. I'll just throw this out there... The car that improved the most in terms of lap time (the what-used-to-be-mine-and-is-now-Mark's MX-5 - from 1:03.3 to 1:01.0) didn't have any upgrades at all... It just wore its tyres out in the last year (now showing canvas) The driver spent a reasonable amount on time on track in that last year though. Getting better at driving is 100% the best 'upgrade' for any car...
  9. Oh yeah, concentrated upgrades in considered areas are good - but lashing money 'just because' isn't a great idea IMO! You ended up a second quicker, which is good work
  10. Don't go buying lots of go-faster bits for your car... Try and find last year's results and compare Haz's times. He's had track tyres, a cage, set of coilovers and a roll centre correction kit since then (sorry to use you as an example Haz but it's quite a good one in this case!). Soft doesn't mean a lack of grip... Especially when you can get a completely standard Mk1 MX-5 round in 1:01... Edit:
  11. Add a foamectomy... Stan fits in his fine at 6ft3 and huge gangly legs.
  12. Fun day, cheers all! More text later, for now a video
  13. We put names and cars on the board last time, that helped a lot. I may have forgotten to pick the board up though...
  14. Aiming for 9, expecting to be 9:30 by the time we get bummed by traffic...
  15. My car isn't ready, I am not ready, I am busy til 9pm tonight and I haven't had chance to do your parallette bars yet I'll do them asap and post them down to you, no extra cost of course... Chat about it tomorrow anyway.
  16. Some difference, but not worth worrying about, both will fit.
  17. 68, but you can use a 73.
  18. Yeah you'll be fine Sam. Dan - don't go solid, fill it with PU.
  19. Corner speed m888. Feel free to borrow my GoPro or lap timer any time... Haha, yep... Still need to put my videos up from the day I crashed, there was a mid 46 in there I think.
