  1. http://www.middleburn.co.uk - I just got the number from there...
  2. Give Matt a bell: +44 1420 525007. He'll sort you out
  3. The quick link isnt as strong as the main links. I'd go without it, use a normal chain tool Matt :D
  4. Both seem to work for me - it takes a few minutes for the new domain re-direction to resolve :D

    New Video

Gotta add postage to that  I dunno about 'direct conflict'... the way we see it is that Craig and Neil cant get some of the parts they want through Phil, so why not help them out a bit? Site looks good though Mr Phil... SelectSexShopBikes.com anyone? hehe
  10. Its because he has secret powers... Nah, just kidding, its a bodge: http://tartybikes.users.digital-crocus.com/secret.jpg (Missed out holes on the hub) As Noz said - Ronnie is the way to go...
  11. :) Yep, harsh landings (well, trials in general). The axle flexes, causing the freehub body to slam into the ratchet. Their new hub will help prevent this, should be a lot tougher :)
  12. Got it in one :) http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=13285
  13. :) Crikey. A decent wheelbuild will prevent spokes snapping more than having better spokes, if you get me. Either way, good build + decent spokes = good strong wheel :)
  14. The rims are pinned at the join, so there is always a 'crack' showing. Unless you've dented it? In which case, pull the dent out and grind back over it, it will be fine :)
  15. I've had tap water in mine for... 2 and a half years now - no problems :(
  16. Exactamondo  Gavin: Sounds like you have one of the 'weird' batch of cranks where too much material has been taken out of the bashring. Get in touch with Supercycles, they'll be able to sort you out. Ads
  17. Did you break them though? And was it definitely the inserts? Theres no way they can flex when theyre a tube supported by their inside AND outside faces!
  18. Top end of the thread (very end of the spoke) to the centre of the head. Or jam a ruler into the elbow, look across to the end of the spoke, round up to the next mm. 'Spoke measuring tool' = a ruler.

    New Hub

Now we see the true meaning (Y) hehe! I agree though, I'd run a non-disc version over a disc hub if i had the choice, and i think a lot of people would (Y) Good point... you'd have cried seeing me take one to my mates King hub then (Y)"
  20. Indeed you have... You need a vice, basically, its pretty much impossible without (Y) In fact, I've never seen one come off intact, even with the use of a vice (Y) !

    New Hub

Hows that happen? Flange spacing will be very very similar (if not the same) as a non-disc hub (Y) Could also argue shorter spokes = stronger build. Weight weenie? Angle grinder (Y)" Nah, theyve done it because the hub is also set to replace (when fitted with alloy freehub and hollow axle) the XC Ti and Bulb - both of which have disc mounts...
  22. Angle grinder and a hammer/chisel (Y)
  23. Aahhh genius! This is good too: http://funnyjunk.com/movies/59/Everything+...y/stream/medium (the end is the best bit)
  24. They do indeed, but theres only so many different shapes you can make into an I-beam section. Check out the Zoo cranks here - look quite different... http://tartybikes.users.digital-crocus.com...e=zoocranks.jpg Dan - they look pretty cheap to me, thats why i say that. Look very similar to the old megamo cranks, in both styling and finish. Also the same material. But hey, have to see how they go I guess. Woodman dont have the best reputation for trials stuff either...
