  1. Damon, Matt's the only person in this country who's got one  And you saw the abuse he's been giving it! Ads
  2. Dodgy!! http://www.cheesies.net/videos/interview2.wmv Hmm
  3. My name just changed  Haha :(" Adam
  4. Haha, local riding (rocks) for me, sorry!
  5. Good question... its per wheel  Just updated... cheers for the heads up! Adam
  6. I'm tempted to post pics of your old rims Aust
  7. Hmm... gonna be tricky to get one for Sunday Dave
  8. Yep. High BB = easier to pull up, just as you'd expect...
  9. Yep, its actually been ridden at more than 5mph now :)
  10. It goes round the corners, very nicely.
  11. Hmm, the proto frame I'm riding feels great!? Theres a little bit of singletrack in the woods near here, which you have to ride through to get to some rocks... new found confidence in not hitting crank arms and pedals :S
  12. I think what you're looking for is Trashzen! Adam Edit: And ProPatcher - http://propatcher.tripod.com/format/how.html?EZGoal.com And Trials Online
  13. Hardly different, I'm sure it could have been held to back wheel anyway, if wanted. As for the music - personal opinion I guess. Can't please everyone! The second section was to show some of the other clips I left out of the video. Its also a Promotional video - therefore the idea is to promote things. It would be called a 'Matt riding KOT MS2' video if it was just riding :o We have to try and give something back to those who have helped us out. See above... As for 'team riders' bit on the website - nobody would look at it. Cheers, Adam
  14. Very bad idea for trials - the mounts unscrew themselves, even with the lockring.
  15. The first song is Soulfly - Pain, and the second one is Incubus - Just a Phase. As for the bike looking very long - well, its approx 1100mm wheelbase, so it is long... however, the higher BB brings your feet closer to the bars - so it doesnt ride as long as it sounds! Cheers again, Adam
  16. Cassette hub: Profile Screw on hub: Megamo BikeGas (needs a 2001 Louise caliper to clear the spokes) Don't expect much change from £200 for either!
  17. Thing is, as soon as you try to roll down stuff, it all goes a bit pear shaped (ie. on natural). The higher stem is definitely a good idea :o
  18. I got a few... but at that point in the ride, Matts had discarded his helmet... Cheers for the comments guys :)
  19. Well, as some of you know, the main purpose of our trip to London this Sunday was to shoot for a KOT MS2 Promo video with Matt. Well, the resulting video has now been uploaded, and is available to download from TartyBikes! Frames and forks are expected at the end of May, with geometry as such: - Wheelbase (with 415mm KOT fork): 1099mm (long version - which Matt is riding in the video), 1065mm (short version) - Chainstay length: 383mm - BB rise: +40mm (with 415mm KOT fork) - Head angle: 70.5 degrees (with 415mm KOT fork) - Weight: Approx 4.2lbs The frames and forks, like Echo and ZOO frames/forks, are made by Pulo from notoriously strong U6 aluminium. Prices are unconfirmed at the moment, but judging from our initial figures, these frames will be very good value! Anyway, enough of the waffle... Click the picture above, and then follow the link on the home page to go to the 'Media' section of the site. You may need to hit F5 on your keyboard to see the new items... Enjoy! Cheers, Adam
  20. The KOT MS2 won't be here in time for your comp, sorry! Estimated release date is the end of May, with us here at TartyBikes being the exclusive UK distributor. Price is yet undecided, but the price guides we've been given indicate very good value! Keep an eye out for a KOT Promo vid featuring Matt Staples... it'll be around sometime pretty soon... Cheers, Adam
  21. So don't moan about the journey (Y)
  22. Wait for the tool... (N)
  23. Fair enough! I just took the 'or not' bit to mean he thought it was weak (N)
  24. 1 x 5mm allen key 1 x lockring adjusting tool Hold lockring with tool (might need a vice), and then undo the non drive side end cap with allen key. Lockring should then unscrew easily (holding the axle by hand).
