That's the same as we have Steve. They do seem pretty flexible... we went to around 700% one month (which would have incurred massive charges) - however they let it slip due to their slow response to our emails... so hopefully you'll be lucky and have the same happen! Thanks for the suggestions Mike - will definitely check them out :P I'm not sure exactly what GZip is, but once again thanks for the suggestion - something else for me to look into! The 4-Jeri is the same as the Surly one, but without the small chain cage. We stopped selling them due to a few complaints from customers about their poor performance.

Take it apart, check the ratchet for damage. Sounds like it will be damaged, so you'll need to ring Hope and send it back to them. Details in the FAQ. If its not too bad, just service it and fit new springs. Adam

Just a year, but Hope are nice B) Lots of small teeth engaging at the same time = stronger than 3 pawls engaging into fewer larger teeth. I would recommend sending your hub back - give them a call and see what they can do for you.

Head down B&Q and get yourself some Nitromors, then just follow the instructions on the tin. You'll have to re-lacquer the forks afterwards or they'll go all manky. In short - its probably easier to just leave the stickers on, or put some new ones over them if you're really that bothered!

You have to strip the forks completely - the graphics are lacquered over. Adam

A cheap frame, that rides well, is strong, and has a great warranty will always sell well! Pick 3 of those (Levelboss, Zebdi) and you still have a really popular frame B)

Profile cassette bodies do not use the Shimano Spline.

Have a look through the brake pad review topic up the top - Plazmatics seem to get excellent reviews right across the board. They were also designed for smooth rims and tar!

Yeah, they will. Cool idea, but I dont see what's wrong with a couple of gussets. If there's an advantage in the way it makes the bike ride though, then that might be a positive effect.

The dropouts look very much like those on an Echo Pure. Any chance of a pic of the bare dropout Jake? Cheers
