  1. Belaey: Fixed sprocket up front, Edco Hub. Hermance: Tightens his ACS every few minutes. Benito: Dunno, probably the same! There's no logical reason to get rid of your King. The weight is no different, it more engagements (at the pedals), is stronger, and more durable. Don't change unless you really need the extra £75 or so.
  2. The beauty of Hope - all small parts available seperately, fully rebuildable, all user serviceable :) Another vote for the Mono Trial from here!
  3. Are you using Firefox? I thought it was doing that for me - but I just had to scroll down...
  4. Looks like an old Try-All rim to me. Adamant - a few people will have that kit soon. Hansventures are in the UK, just not many shops choose to stock them... some do. Stealth hubs, pretty poor, not worth it IMO. Bonz would be good, although the 'fashion' is for screw on cranks now, so might not be much call for them.
  5. For your bike Ben, Echo Urbans!
  6. Here we go :$ http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/OnzaResults.xls Adam
  7. Erm, Chris King, haha. Why did you get rid?
  8. The Team (CNC Crown) forks only come with a disc mount - so Easy it is! Adam
  9. Looks like very much a dirt-orientated hub. Its just a catalogue special, I wouldnt expect it to last long at all on a trials bikes. 600g too, ouch...
  10. For one wristband, correct :$
  11. Post has been updated... you were damn fast there :$
  12. There's been a re-think, and as of now, the wristbands are £2 each, with all proceeds to be donated to BikeTrial UK. The 'Send a Stamped Addressed Envelope' system still applies though, in order to keep the wristbands seperate from TartyBikes. We are simply acting as an easily accessible outlet for the wristbands. Further details of how to use the SAE system are on our website. As previously, these are NOT a freebie to be given away with orders - I hope that is now clear. Any SAEs postmarked 18th October (or earlier) will still have the wristbands supplied free of charge. Thanks, Adam

    What Rim?

... but only available in 32 hole. The only red front rim in 36h I can think of would be an X517 (if you can find one!). Onza Reggies come in 36h, but obviously not in red. Edit: MAYBE an Onza Half Fat - but theres not many of them around any more.
  14. Hi everyone, Just a quick post about today's events down here at the Cycle Show. We're running 4 sections outside in the morning, with all 11 teams competing. The Top 5 of these teams then goes through to ride the sections indoors in the afternoon - which are rather crazy! :ermm: Format is pretty simple, but inventive - the 26" rider goes first, and after he has finished the 20" attempts to complete the section in the opposite direction. Riders at the moment include Dani Comas, Cesar Canas, Thomas Oehler, Walter Belli, Ben Slinger, James Hyland, Neil Tunnicliffe, Ben Slinger, Danny Butler, Phil Williams, Austin Wright, Matt Staples, Chris Doney, Chris Akrigg and Mr Waynio, all fighting for a share of the Three Thousand Pound purse! The leaders after day 1 are Dani and Cesar, with Thomas and Walter not far behind! Its looking well set up for tomorrow, so come along and watch this amazing riding in the flesh! Details can be found on the Cycle Show Website - http://www.cycleshow.co.uk Here's a small video for you to enjoy for now... (OnzaTrials.mov) http://tv.isg.si/site/?q=filebrowser/thetart20. Size is 3.8 meg, 50 seconds long - enjoy! Cheers, Adam
  15. If you bend the springs (approx) half way along their length, NOT at the point they enter the caliper, there will be no problem with it (Y)
  16. They should as long as you get the rotor centered in the caliper. I usually just leave it to rub and settle down, but if its annoying you can centre the pads over the rotor instead.
  17. That'll be the chain skipping over your sprocket - not enough chain wrap combined with a sightly worn chain/sprocket (Y)
  18. Yup yup, that's how to do it. Silicone spray, car spares shop, £3.99 for a huge tin, job done.
  19. Should be alright... if it skips, whip it apart and remove a bit of the grease :P (but not all of it!)
  20. Don't waste your money on the X-Lites.
  21. I say 'Magyoura', but I know I'm wrong.
