  1. Might as well then! Meet at 11:30-12? (I need a good night's sleep for once). Will update the first post now... Cheers, Adam
  2. Might have been Gilles Coustellier <_<
  3. Unless you get the right stem! The difference you may have felt was due to the stock having more reach. Something the High BB bikes do is make the effective cockpit shorter. But sound advice there Phil (Y)
  4. Wicked Game - HIM (Original by Chris Isaac (spelling)). Not that heavy, but an awesome tune! Edit: I've actually got 2 versions of that cover - the one that isnt the 'New Version' is better (Y)
  5. Im guessing the weather's gonna be crap, haha, so how does Kebs sound? Don't fancy the hike up to Blackstone either (Y) Hopefully Sam'll approve!
  6. Guess you could chop it down Sam. However, these 'Allen Key Skewers' are M5 thread, which, arent as strong as M6. They dont hold your wheel any tighter than a good quick release, they just weigh a bit less, and break more easily. Bolts are lighter too.
  7. I'm pretty sure its a generic hub with a screw-in freehub body. If so, it takes a 12mm allen key fitting from the non drive side of the hub, you have to whip the axle out first. Getting the freehub out is a MISSION. You'll need a couple of strong mates and a big, bolted down vice. It'll make a loud bang as it comes undone. Make sure you're going the right way as well! (Y)
  8. Sweet, cheers Ali (Y) Where's best then? I'm defo up for one of them :D Cheers
  9. Any sort of approximate location for these places...? Thankyouplease! Edit: Bah! Looking for a map now... here Edit again: Hmmm, not as far as I thought it would be! Wheres best do you reckon then Ali?
  10. Still may be some other additives though Steve?
  11. Lets hope the 'Tape Rear Hub' is a standard spline pattern... let us know how it goes Mike! ;) Edit: Just checked, they are indeed a Shimano HG spline ;)
  12. I said I didnt wanna drive too far Guilliame ;) hehe ;) Yeah, sorry Ben, bit of a mission for you... move to a proper country :deej: Cheers for the offer Rob, but I need my natty fix, none of this street poop ;) Looks like it may be Heysham then? Any more takers? Tom? Carl? Stan? Cap the 'YMSA Expert Dipper'? Cheers, Ads
  13. Just been forwarded this by my GF... ---------------------------------------------------------- In memory of a great man. Ronnie Barker, RIP. This was originally shown on BBC TV back in the seventies. Ronnie Barker could say all this without a snigger (though god knows how many takes). Irony is that they received not one complaint. The speed of delivery must have been too much for the whining herds. Try getting through it without converting the spoonerisms [and not wetting your pants] as you read ... -------------------------------------------------------- This is the story of Rindercella and her sugly isters. Rindercella and her sugly isters lived in a marge lansion. Rindercella worked very hard frubbing sloors, emptying poss pits, and shivelling shot. At the end of the day, she was knucking fackered. The sugly isters were right bugly astards. One was called Mary Hinge, and the other was called Betty Swallocks; they were really forrible huckers;they had fetty sweet and fetty swannies. The sugly isters had tickets to go to the ball, but the cotton runts would not let Rindercella go. Suddenly there was a bucking fang, and her gairy fodmother appeared. Her name was Shairy Hithole and she was a light rucking fesbian. She turned a pumpkin and six mite wice into a hucking cuge farriage with six dandy ronkeys who had buge hollocks and dig bicks The gairy fodmother told Rindercella to be back by dimnlight otherwise, there would be a cucking falamity. At the ball, Rindercella was dancing with the prandsome hince when suddenly the clock struck twelve. "Mist all chucking frighty!!!" said Rindercella, and she ran out tripping barse over ollocks, so dropping her slass glipper. The very next day the prandsome hince knocked on Rindercella's door and the sugly isters let him in. Suddenly, Betty Swallocks lifted her leg and let off a fig bart. "Who's fust jarted??" asked the prandsome hince. "Blame that fugly ucker over there!!" said Mary Hinge. When the stinking brown cloud had lifted, he tried the slass glipper on both the sugly isters without success and their feet stucking funk. Betty Swallocks was ducking fisgusted and gave the prandsome hince a knack in the kickers. This was not difficult as he had bucking fuge halls and a hig bard on. He tried the slass glipper on Rindercella and it fitted pucking ferfectly. Rindercella and the prandsome hince were married. The pransome hince lived his life in lucking fuxury, and Rindercella lived hers with a follen swanny. ;) ;) :) ;)
  14. Get some more Onzas on half price crash replacement, and get yourself some decent bar end plugs ;)
  15. Ok, so I need my fix of rocks, and I have a free day Saturday. Anyone up for it? I'm not bothered about travelling a bit, but no more than about an hour, hour and a half... Currently thinking about Heysham, Farleton (still got exploring to do up there...), Back Cowm, places like that. Anyone up for it, rain or shine? Cheers, Adam Edit: Details: Back Cowm, meeting 11:30-12. See you there!
  16. Half in - cut the thread, quarter out - break up the swarf... as a rough guide anyway. Cutting fluid is good to use, but some general oil/grease will do if you havent got any proper stuff.
  17. Yes. M6 x 1.0. These would do nicely: Adam
  18. It wouldn't even be a bodge! We can supply the Profile Mini Cassette Hubs with whatever size sprocket you like, its just that 12T is most common. So, you could get the hub as standard with an 18T, then when you have enough mouey to upgrade your cranks, whack an 18T up front and buy a 12T for the rear - sorted B) Adam Edit: Oops, didn't read what Tom put above... thanks Tom!
  19. From experience.... left a horrible smell in my kitchen too! (Y)
  20. Doesn't work unfortunately. PU is cast/moulded from 2 mixed components usually, and then left to set. Heating it up past its melting point just turns it into gunge.

    Ink Cartridges

I got a refill kit from Asda the other day. £7.92, comes with syringe and other little bits for making necessary mods to the cartridge, 3 x 30ml bottle of black ink (one bottle fills a cartridge), and a bottle of 'flush' (meths) in case. Worked perfectly! Might be worth a look, see if its compatible with your cartridge: http://www.jrinkjet.com For comparison, the cheapest cartridge I could find was £17+, official Lexmark ones are £20!
  22. Sounds about right, often do that when not set up properly. They also get better when they get older - impressive.
  23. Agreed. Your T-Rex has an Internal headset though. www.chrisking.com for the differences. As for warranty - speak to Onza and see what they say. It sounds like you've overtightened your headset though, that usually causes races to crack. I've not had any problems with mine in about 15 months.

    Mavic D321

None of them, although I guess it looks a bit like a squashed Supra MT.
