The lockring on the Try-All butts up against the crank arm/hub though, which is what stops it coming loose

To do a grind you really do need to use a grinder... there's loads of other ways of imitating a grind, but none of them work the same they're usually a shed load of hassle!

That's right. So the frames are 'Long' and 'Short', but the actual reach from BB to head tube is still the same. This is different to how other manufacturers do it - they add/subtract some from the top and down tubes and keep the head angle the same.

The head angle of the Short MS2 (72) is actually steeper than the long version (70.5) - this is where the difference in wheelbase comes in. We've listed them as 'normal' long and short frames on our site so not to confuse people though!

Yep To use a rear caliper on the front, you'd need a 20mm larger rotor. For example, if the brake was a 160mm on the rear, then you'd need a 180mm rotor to run that same caliper up front. Ads
