  1. Just an update: These frames are now in the UK and available for purchase. As you may or may not know, TartyBikes team rider Stan Shaw has signed for Ozonys this season and is riding one of the Cannibal frames. I believe a couple of forum users have already had the pleasure of having a quick play on his bike too. Cheers Adam
  2. Initial prices are £575 for the 26" and £435 for the 20", these are still to be confirmed. The original T1000 frame will also still be available at a reduced price of around £365. Cheers Adam
  3. Unsure about the red ones - will have to see what turns up! Hub shell is on the way, hopefully here tomorrow, Hope have been a bit slow with our order this time, sorry!
  4. The little grub screws in the end caps are just there to stop them falling off, there's no major function for them. Monty Snail Cams due back in stock early next week Adam
  5. Where did you buy it from Dave? They shouldn't have been sold yet - all the ones we have are being returned and swapped due to a fault in the first batch. The design, manufacturing tolerances and materials quality of the Echo is on a par with the White Industries.
  6. That's exactly what I do with mine on the drive side (looks like a Monty 221 Pr frame you have there?) - works a treat On the disc side though you're best off leaving the snail cam on the outside (just slip it over the axle before tightening the bolt down) for 2 reasons: The serrated axle end bites into the frame better than a flat plate of alloy, thus keeping your wheel in place; and if you put a spacer (snail cam) between the axle end and the frame you'll mess up the spacing between your disc mount and disc rotor. Both the Monty and Try-All snail cams will work great with that frame. The axles on the Monty 221 Ti rear disc hubs have shoulders for the bearings to sit on, so everything looks to be in order in that aspect (no need to tap the axle in/out/shake it all about). The axles do stick out of the end caps a little more on that hubs than others though so it can look like the axle may be dislodged. Hope that helps Adam
  7. The OS115 isn't available in 110 x 17 as far as I know... only 120 x 17 and then 6 degree in other lengths
  8. Haha, that would be awesome... if a bit scary Christmas Raffle plans are almost sorted
  9. Hmm, I don't really like riding by myself. Done it a few times but I just get bored really easily...

  13. Got some today, will bash them on the site Monday and let you know when they're up Thanks for the comments guys, glad you like the organisation etc! Had some more thoughts about James' raffle idea, hopefully we'll be able to get something planned and announced in the near future. Cheers again Adam
  14. Haha, we actually have a shopping trolley that Ali C and Iolo are 'restoring'... I'll get some pics when its done The woodwork was done by myself and one of the local riders Gav, with a bit of help from my girlfriend. Took quite a while, we also had a set of stairs to make (which I got knocked down after being shocked by the mains electric, oops - some mong left live wires up there ) which you can't see in any of the pictures. Cheers Ads
  15. That raffle idea is actually damn good James... will give it some thought, nice one Yeah, quite low on all stock at the moment, we ran it down to make everything easier to move, but frames are right towards the back. Cheers Adam
  16. The Technical line is mainly for those who are after advice about parts, for warranty queries and also returns - the idea is to free up time on the sales line (we often get reports of people having to try many times to get through at busy periods). The Sales line is for those who wish to ring up and place an order quickly and efficiently. Obviously orders can be placed on both lines (and technical advice given on both lines, just not quite to the same standard on the sales line at the moment), and both the numbers ring into the same office, we just thought it would make it easier for some customers to have two lines Hope that makes sense, Adam
  17. 18th October: New features and gadgets added to the site, comments and suggestions welcome as long as they aren't ridiculous Thanks Adam PS: A massive thanks to Dave from http://www.coxwebdesign.com for his efforts, he's just headed off to bed after a 27 hour stint getting our site up and running on time ----------------------- Hey everyone, Our site has just had a quick update with news regarding our re-opening and also a few pictures of the new place - http://www.tartybikes.co.uk Hope you like! Cheers Adam
  18. You may have seen our Pro2 Trials rear hubs with TartyBikes logo, but thanks to the guys at Hope we now have another new product to offer! First up is the Hope Tarty Trial, identical to the standard Mono Trial in functionality but we have the calipers and lever bodies custom anodised in black. The lever blade will be silver, the bore cap black, and the lever body has a TartyBikes logo laser etched onto it. The top cap will be the 'Union Jack' version seen on some brakes in magazine tests. I haven't got a detailed picture of this brake yet as it seems to have gone missing on the way back from the NEC, haha, but its the Hope brake on the right in this picture for anyone who saw it at the Bike Show: http://photokool.com/bikeshow/pages/Bike_Show_4570.htm (cheers Joe). RRP will be £140. The Tarty Trial SL is the same as above but comes with £60+ of upgrades including: Hope Carbon Lever Blade, Hope Ti Rotor Bolts, Hope Ti Caliper Bolts and Hope Ti Lever Clamp Bolts. This brake will retail at £180. These custom brakes will be available for purchase in around 7-10 days, and will be available in all current options (160, 180, front, rear, left hand, right hand). More pics and info as soon as our stock arrives! Cheers Adam
