  1. the stackers are to compensate for the extra bb rise. The thumb shifter was left over from a comp, ts now been removed. The cranks are shimano Deores modded with a steel threaded insert to accept normal screw on cogs...the bash is a Atomz one. Its currently got 17/15 ratio, just perfect for chain tension, I wish my mod had the same tension! expect to see different lighter parts on it soon.
  2. Now 8.62kg (19.00lbs - over a pound lighter than the standard build)... modified bashplate, new forks. Pics when/if I can be bothered Getting it under 8kg would be near impossible I think, even shaving 200g was a right mission
  3. I really couldn't be arsed at 10 last night... and it'll have Tarty Trial SL brakes on it soon anyway
  4. Are you writing in Australian? *groan*
  5. More pics tomorrow... Hope you like! Adam

Same here. And duty, and VAT... all on top of the value of the goods including the shipping cost. Then Parcel Force clearance fee, usually £13.50. I've never heard of an appeal against import tax being successful - I once appealed on tax I paid on a King hub that was sent back to me from King under warranty (warranty/non-sales goods are meant to be exempt from import taxes), didn't receive a penny. I'm guessing that on goods that have actually been purchased there's no way you'll get round it. I think you'll just have to pay it unfortunately, the government always wins!
  9. Last one broke. It's the same as before, just black
  10. You have a tiny wheel though
  11. Arrived today I believe the last one was 1085, +20, 380, weight 2.14kg. Release date not set yet, price expected to be similar. Ads
  12. We did, and Cox Web Design built/coded it. Most certainly isn't - every bit of code was written from scratch in notepad. (sorry for the OT reply)
  13. Still waiting for Iolo to find time to do the welding booo...
  14. Word of warning - Fatty's use a strange sized V brake boss... it might not be paint that's the problem but the wrong size thread!
  15. Yowch! You really need to wear your helmet more Joe
  16. Yeh that'll be the ones, we had some and they were defo over 1kg. I wonder what would happen if you whipped the dropouts off a set, cut the legs down and bonded them back on? Must say I'm tempted, despite the obvious lack of warranty...
  17. What exactly are you after Matt? A really low stack headset? If you're going to a ZOO then you'll need a standard headset, (the first you linked to is internal, the second integrated) one of the lowest around is the basic Cane Creek one: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=218. Total stack height is just under 30mm, for reference a King is 31.4 and they are pretty low. Ads

    Nice Bars

Yeah, they do seem to have a little more rise and sweep than the current ZOO bars. Will measure the angles and add them to the spec on our site when I get time!
  19. That was Blue and Red Only in Blue now though.
  20. The Lite uses thicker tubes than the T-Mag, all the recent Echo/GU/Adamant/Czar frames use the same system.

    Nice Bars

They look very old to me, only ever seen one other set broken!
