  1. We require a new member of staff to take care of a range of roles, including but not limited to: product photography and editing, online presence including social media and website based work, order fulfilment and dealing with customer enquiries via email / telephone. This is a permanent, full-time (Monday to Friday) position at our warehouse near Preston, Lancashire; and is available now. There may be some infrequent weekend work also required when we run events. A keen interest in bikes is imperative (with a strong preference towards trials bikes), as is some previous experience with high-quality photography and the use of online platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Training for other roles will be provided. You should have good communication skills - both in person and online - be driven and willing to often undertake tasks on your own without direction from others, but still able to work in a team when required. The role will see you working within a small team of enthusiasts, all of whom also have a wide range of workplace skills. This means that tasks are often shared around to ensure variation in your daily work. Specific qualifications or experience are not necessary, but extra credit will be given if any relevant ones have been achieved. The initial salary will be decided depending on your previous experience, and has the option to increase as your value to the company grows. Other benefits include the use of our indoor riding area, bikes and parts available at cost price, plus a relocation allowance if required. If you would like to apply or ask for any further details, please contact Adam on 01772 32 33 33 or email adam@tartybikes.co.uk.

Makes sense! It'd be interesting to see where the lap time improvements have come from - as in, how much is from the tyres and how much is from the aero. Although... after some Googling: 2017 testing speed traps: 2016 testing speed trap info: 1 Nasr, 338.5km/h 2 Hamilton, 337.5km/h 3 Massa, 334.3km/h 4 Hulkenberg, 333.3km/h 5 Haryanto, 333.3km/h 6 Magnussen, 332.3km/h 7 Grosjean, 331.2km/h 8 Raikkonen, 331.2km/h 9 Rosberg, 328.2km/h 10 Sainz, 327.2km/h 11 Kvyat, 322.3km/h 12 Button, 320.4km/h 2015 speed trap info (fastest 334km/h) https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&ved=0ahUKEwjataDXjOjSAhWsC8AKHcgpDxwQFggcMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.fia.com%2Ffile%2F27515%2Fdownload%3Ftoken%3D0wNuHT3D&usg=AFQjCNGPeVqh6F6CuF9F8C39_8f1tRWlIQ&sig2=DFJ2CYxyoAiaNMaBLfy45g&cad=rja So not a lot of difference between the 3 years...!

Hmm, not really. Kimi's lap wasn't exactly great, missed both the hairpins by quite a margin! Also interesting how the 2017 lap is slower to the first braking zone... Sandbagging? Engine turned down?
  4. The hub bearings will usually feel a bit grim after a year. As long as there's no play, the freehub spins smoothly and there's no weird noises, its all good. Glad you got it to work, its fairly common for European manufacturers to ignore Hope hubs when they are designing.
  5. Seems like it'll be the perfect answer to a lot of 24" 'problems'. We've got some on order.
  6. First video was awesome! Such a cool vibe, everyone having fun... loved the helmet throwing too
  7. Couldn't have put it better
  8. Ah, I need to learn to read
  9. I'd probably pull the head, will make removal a LOT easier since you can then heat around the siezed plug. New gasket is ~£20 and you can re-use the bolts. It's a scary job first time but as long as you are methodical you'll manage it no probs Mike!
  10. Need more info... Finally someone else with a proper car
  11. Use steel bolts if you have issues with them coming loose. Make sure you use grease as well as that threadlock, or the bolts won't be coming out again.
  12. Try a little more torque, 8Nm should be safe.
  13. Ignore the computer, do a full tank before worrying.
  14. I quite like the doors, haha. Car is wacky, doors are wacky, s'all good.
  15. This is a great brain teaser! Hmm. I don't think it's as simple as 50:50, because you know there are only two data sets and you know they aren't exclusive of each other due to your prior knowledge. So........... Thinking through this out loud... there are 2 possible sets of data: Set a - 1 boy (item 1) + 1 boy (item 2) Set b - 1 girl (item 3) + 1 boy (item 4) They have brought one boy with them, so either they have brought item 1, item 2 or item 4. If they brought item 1, that leaves item 2 at home. If they brought item 2, that leaves item 1 at home. If they brought item 4, that leaves item 3 at home. So that leaves 3 scenarios for the remaining item - boy, boy, girl. So I'd say the possibility of the remaining kid being a boy is 2 out of 3. Wow, my gut feel was 1/3 but my (probably flawed ) maths said otherwise!
  16. Oh I see. Not really. Grinder, welder, sheet of thin steel, go crazy!
  17. Not really, would easy enough to make one too. Some sort of rocker with one end attaching to the clevis on your hydro master, other end on the standard clutch cable. More complicated than you'd need, but gives the idea: Might be a much easier option for you given the shape of your footwell... Those pedal boxes go into kit cars etc pretty easily, but they are so square that I can't imagine them being anything other than a PITA for a 'regular' shell.
  18. Pretty sure you can get cable to hydro converters. Looks like you'll need to get handy with the welder and grinder to make that pedal box fit anywhere near... Or change it for a top mounted one.
  19. It's really weird seeing a photo of that bike in really high quality... haha. Looks ace.
  20. Yeah, Gaz are turd. OE manufacturers for the win.
  21. Fish and chips for tea? Winner. Seriously though, if that is what I think it is... great news, congrats
  22. The official Magura ones aren't as bad, but they are a bit slower than normal. They are too short though really, and getting hold of one will be tricky now.
