  1. Yeah Bongo, get off your PC
  2. Usually hold 2-8 or more of Try-All rims in each option, depending on popularity. 28h front rims are relatively rare so fewer of those than, say, 32h 26" rear rims in black. Luckily (for us!) most of the Adamant/Czar/GU/ZOO parts have been discontinued, with just the lever blades, bashrings, cranks, headsets, bars and boosters coming in 2 instead of 6 colours now. But yeah, when they were first released it meant a lot of different items! Those sorts of stock combinations are not something a 'normal' shop would not be confident in having, with mail order you have a much larger 'audience'. Old unpopular colours are discounted if they don't sell within a reasonable period of time usually
  3. Another problem with 'normal' shops is that they generally don't actually stock much kit - never all the combinations in my experience. For example, to stock just one of every Try-All rim you need to hold 67 individual rims, I don't think I've even been into a normal bike shop who has that many rims in, never mind of just one brand! Trials is crazy... Edit: Miscalculated, its actually 76!
  4. I reckon, without the internet, we'd all still be buying bodged XC parts from our local bike shops...
  5. Same... makes the frame look even better value though!
  6. Its a mirror image of this one: Also can be seen on these two pics: http://tartybikes.co.uk/images/large_kotblack.jpg http://tartybikes.co.uk/images/large_kotsilver.jpg (New pics went up yesterday.) Bike looks sweet, I miss my KOT! Cheers Ads
  7. Thats a bit philosophical for early on a Friday morning! Not sure I get what you mean?
  8. Long shot... anyone travelling down south past J15 of the M1 after the comp and will have a spare seat in the car? My girlfriend wants to come along but it'll be a super-mission for me to do the comp, drive ~1.5hrs south then another 3 hours North on Sunday evening... fuel will be paid for of course! Cheers Ads
  9. Due to trials being so small, it wouldn't really be feasible to do that unfortunately. There's only 2 or 3 shops on the whole country who stock a decent range of parts, so you'd have to travel miles to see anything! People are welcome to come and look at our place given a bit of notice, but the old distance problem comes about straight away! (Postcode PR5 6FN if you wanted to look on a map.) Partz - it is a bit like that, it's rare for someone to come in and leave without spending at least some money Ads
  10. Haha, try it, it's actually damn hard to keep your balance... (I filmed it btw)
  11. Very nice - minimal green ***!
  12. I've got some beast UHU stuff here Ali, I reckon that'd do the trick nicely I know Dave Butler just uses normal Araldite on Danny's forks... Edit: Oops, alloy to alloy... I would guess a good interference fit plus some araldite would do it nicely.
  13. Probs best to fire me an email or a phone call about that, slightly off topic for this thread! Ads
  14. Nope, our courier is totally separate to Royal Mail.

  20. Better still is to ask their mobile number, so you can call them at a suitably inconvenient time (If you wanna call back that is )
  21. Tell them you're a bit busy at the moment, ask for their name and phone number and say you'll call them back
