  1. It's a super sweet frame... will do some pics and get it on our site as soon as I get chance!
  2. WD40 and GT85 are both pants as a lube... The Monty Chain Spray is similar to the Finish Line Dry Wax someone mentioned above, works great, certainly better than *insert random household oil*. The idea, as Hudson said, is that you spray it on wet, the solvent evaporates and this leaves a dry waxy coating on your chain which doesn't attract dust and crap. Pretty sure it says exactly that on the site actually... haha, sorry for repeating myself. Ads
  3. Beasty... unless something crops up or the weather is gash I will most likely be there with Stan and Ali Edit: Rocks ***
  4. It a cheapo Sony (W12)... lens has arrived, was meant to be a 0.45x but seems more like 0.75 and its a bit poop. Oh well! Joe: Yeah, Slinger on T-Lite
  5. The RRP is £55... not sure why the importer/distributor have them at less than that.
  6. They were some randomers off eBay... too long (he cut them down), too heavy, too flexy. He now has different forks on... which we all knew would happen shortly anyway
  7. The patented 'knee in armpit' manoeuvre...
  8. More pics... did some filming tonight too! Shipley Glen: Stan sidehop Stan backwards hooky trackstand thing Morecambe: Cap huge dropgap to rail Stan nice little tap, trickier than it looks Same from Cap, from the thinner side What happens during a 'CapTap'™ (Edit: Check the lack of offset on his forks, haha, fatty) Stan 52" sidehop And one more... from here to back wheel, all UCI clean: Sorry for the influx of pics, but I enjoy taking them and haven't got time to edit videos! Cheers Ads
  9. Can't work it out in my head why, but it does pull to the right - try it and see.
  10. Really good Dan, that's my fave vid of yours I think...! Thought you were gonna use Radiohead all the way through, thankfully not, I'm baggsying that song Nice one
  11. It's quicker to list the similarities, so I'll do that: Chainstay length BB Shell Width And... that's it - everything else is different.
  12. Cheers Ian... It's just a basic point and shoot Sony W12. Would love a flashgun but not sure how much I'd need to spend to get a decent one, and if they even make one for that camera?!
  13. QUOTE(danny B @ Jul 18 2007, 10:15 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>anyone got any pics??My camera can't swim or I would have taken some
  14. Extra points for no hander lander?
  15. Some pics from tonight... trying out my new (super cheapo so excuse the blurring/quality) lens: Ali rolldown Ali... being Ali Stan about to spring up Stan up over water to front-back from rock in bottom left Ali on sketchy ledge Then dropping off... 'Hmm, that's higher than it looks from up there' Steve sidehop to back wheel Phil tucked sidehop with sweaty arse Cap with no handed tucked sidehop to sit down (BIU clean?) Stan large sidehop Ali big TGS gap (going to the one with the bag next to it) Wide shot of Ali dropping down Patented lying down gap up to front wheel Scotty up to hook Nice view Hope you like, was a cool ride Ads
  16. Cut the middle out of the pedals? Holes in cranks will be death I think, don't really wanna risk my ankles! Cutting steerer down will mean I have to lower the bars and it will ride poop, they're a bit low as it is (running a higher stem would add more weight than I took off by chopping the steerer)
  17. Tempted to do that (the rims)... will take aaggeess though and I don't really have the time/inclination. We will see! Would probably drill the sidewalls too if I was to go that far. Shortened the hoses since the pics, saved 19g lol Hydroxx is 140g less than Monty (as standard, but approx 100g heavier than my frame in its current state), but I can't afford one. Below 8kg will be REALLY hard... There really isn't 500g to save on that bike

  19. They are indeed. Now without bashplate or bashplate mounts.. and has a modified 28g Atomz bashring 8.50kg!
  20. Riding tomorrow evening after work up near Blackpool somewhere ish... give us a shout if you fancy it! Ads
  21. Pull the wheel across to the non drive side a little bit (away from the drive side). The frame is relatively flexy so moving the pad away from the drive side should cure it. Ads
  22. Riding at uni is good, you can always find time. Words of warning: DO NOT store your bike in a public bike shed, no matter how big and secure your locks are. I had a bike stolen while I was at uni, they cut through the frame to steal the rest - because the lock was undamaged I couldn't claim on insurance. Get yourself a bike bag and make the cleaner a few cups of tea instead

    Codec? Arggh

Download the Nemo Codec Pack (google it) and that *should* sort it...
  24. If that's 32h then yep - 265 drive, 268 other side.
