  1. It's not though, is it...
  2. Morning brain Hacksaw, bit of steel tube to sleeve, plug welds, done Nah, that is a bit too pikey even for me. I guess it can be shortened though? With the car having stiff / short travel suspension the working angle of the CV joint won't be overstretched.
  3. Didn't watch with sound... but... won't the driveshaft nut stop that from moving?
  4. Just had a nosey on CS - sounds like it's all fixable, hope you can get it all sorted soon
  5. Oh bummer What happened?
  6. Started looking at a secondary mobile layout that can be activated via the 'List View' option (defaults to 'grid view' as standard), which shows more items per page with stripped down info. I've just knocked this together quickly so the padding isn't optimised, but to give you an idea of what we're thinking... Would appreciate your thoughts Andy (and others who feel the same). Cheers!
  7. Gotta make at least ~230bhp surely? Hope all goes well!
  8. Agreed! Reason Corbyn won't win is that he doesn't promise completely unrealistic stuff. I really wish 'I don't trust any of you f**kers' was a box I could tick...
  9. Andy - appreciate the feedback! I also hate having to get used to a new site... here's some info that may help: - If you are on any 'category' page (eg. all stems, all rims, etc) the top bar is still there - hit the grey magnifying glass icon and the side menu appears. Hit the upward arrow that replaced it to hide the menu and come back to the products. No scrolling up and down necessary. - There is also an up arrow in the bottom right that appears as soon as you start scrolling up, that will shunt you back to the top of the page if you need. - We strongly feel that the site is much better for buying on mobile now when you know what you want, but I totally get what you're saying about the browsing aspect... Many people will just want to have a nosey at stuff rather than want to buy. This is much easier on the desktop site where you have a lot more screen area. The issue with the old site - for me - was that everything was way too small to see any sort of detail on mobile. I'll see if there is a way we can make a more 'shrunk down' version available for mobile - something like 4 or 6 items per page? Just basic details like a small photo, product brand / model, price and add to basket / options button? Not taken as an asshole comment at all, it's very constructive - thanks for putting it forward in that way
  10. Can't believe that is 6 years ago already...
  11. No special tools other than a T10 key, don't need to re-bleed
  12. Bit of a bump and an adjusted job description... We require a new member of staff to take care of a range of roles, including but not limited to: order picking / packing, unpacking and checking off incoming deliveries from suppliers and dealing with customer enquiries via email / telephone. This is a permanent, full-time (Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm) position at our warehouse near Preston, Lancashire; and is available now. There may be some infrequent weekend work also required when we run events. We will also consider a part-time applicant, minimum 3 days a week. A keen interest in bikes is imperative, ideally having ridden trials for a number of years to have built up good background knowledge about our very specialist sport. You should have good communication skills - in person, on the phone and online - be driven, and willing to often undertake tasks on your own without direction from others, but still able to work in a team when required. Specific qualifications or previous experience are not necessary as training will be provided. The role will see you working within a small team of enthusiasts, all of whom also have a wide range of workplace skills. This means that tasks are often shared around to ensure variation in your daily work. The initial salary will be decided depending on your previous experience, and has the option to increase as your value to the company grows. Other benefits include the use of our indoor riding area, bikes and parts available at cost price, plus a relocation allowance if required. If you would like to apply or ask for any further details, please contact Adam on 01772 32 33 33 or email adam@tartybikes.co.uk.

  14. I'm not even going to get into this...
  15. Huge mega bump Anyone got this downloaded anywhere? It's one of my fave videos and it's the only one on the Tarty site that doesn't work... YouTube took it down cos of the music. Cheers!
  16. It's anodised, but the blade will wear in the way you have described with the up and down play. It's a limitation of the way the blade fitting system is designed in the lever body.
  17. Yeah, the MT90 is good stuff, pricey but good. It's fully synth though from memory so may be too slippery for really old synchros. BGH (Google them if you've not heard of them Sam) recommend the Comma stuff for their T9s, so that would do the job nicely. Should be able to get it from local motor factors nice and cheap.
  18. Yup. Which box is it, Type 9? Change the fluid for a good quality semi synthetic (not fully synth) GL4 spec (NOT GL4 / 5 compatible), see if that helps first.
  19. Just specialist ones - that's the feedback I've had from them anyway. Literally they have told me 'If you have any more mods or plan to do them, tell me now as it will reduce your premium'. Yeah the V5 should be updated with an engine change. Well, definitely if capacity changes but in theory also if the CO2 / km changes I guess. As far as I know you just send it to the DVLA with proof of the swap and they take care of it.
  20. And having loads of mods usually helps too - they know you're going to take care of it.
  21. I wear mine, doesn't affect me at all.
