  1. Nice one basher! Really good riding, that last line is a monster
  2. The bolts in those hubs (Zoot front hub by the looks of it) are pretty heavily threadlocked in as standard, so it will be faaaairly tricky to get out. Failing that, give Supercycles a shout and they should be able to supply a new axle (easily fitted/removed). Adam

    Brakes....

New pads will make a HUGE difference... something like Plaz CRVs (if you plan to re-grind) or the clear Rock Pads (if you keep your rim as it is) will do nicely.

  5. 'Fit on the phone... add 3 stone...'
  6. Nice frame that! Was thinking of doing the same with my head tube gusset but one slip and I'd be right through the downtube... oops! Got a scoop in my BB shell, decided a hole would be too water-y...
  7. Eastern Grim Reaper? Is that a BMX frame? I could... but exactly what you said Haha, I think it would look OK on black rims maybe... might do it if I can be arsed!
  8. Heavier :wink2: haha. It can do, all you need to do is drop the forks out and dry it down though. The frame won't rust because it's aluminium and its anodised.
  9. Just like any other good pad We have some on a bike here with a smooth rim and they work great.
  10. Nice... looks good! Cheers I'd probably actually come down from Chorley on the Saturday morning, it's a right mission from Northampton back up to Matlock! I'm sure we could find each other in Matlock anyway, or somewhere nearby...
  11. Hmm... Just had a look on Multimap, that's a bit too far, sorry Was looking at being no more than an hour-ish south of Northampton if poss, so Oxford is about my limit as I need to be back in Northampton for the evening. Thanks though! Ads: Sounds cool, any pics or anything from there? I've heard about it but never been you see
  12. Hehe, unfortunately not. I'm not 100% on the full process but have a quick google for it, the chemicals used are pretty nasty!
  13. Right, I've got some time to fill on the afternoon of Saturday 1st Sept... looking at riding anywhere between Preston and Northampton, or anywhere within about 50 miles of Northampton providing its good Natural would be best but street if I have to Any ideas? Cheers Adam
  14. So it was you who rang haha. Back Cowm's only open at weekends for future info... But Lee Quarry is also ace and only just round the corner! You have a good day?
  15. How old's the chain? I've set a few of these up with 18... 15 I think (if not it'll be 16) after creating holes for snail cam bolts - they've been great ever since.
  16. I'm talking a couple of microns here... Plus the dipping process strips everything off the frame, including steel helicoils/inserts. A bit of masking tape wouldn't stand a chance!
  17. All the bits you describe are usually unique to a certain headset and are never (to my knowledge) available for purchase separately... your best bet would be to buy a complete new headset unfortunately!
  18. The fork is painted matt black (that's the standard colour), with laser etched logo to remove the paint.
  19. The Yabbaa website is obviously incorrect, the figure I remember is +30, which looks about right from your pictures
  20. Sure yours wasn't sprayed/powder coated? Anodising actually removes material, there's no need to mask off threads etc. Check out: http://anodising.blogspot.com - stevebarry1978@hotmail.com

Got it in one Even if it means we lose money on the parts, scrapping it would be a horrendous waste! As for 06/07 models, there's always a change, the 06 and 07 Controls (for example) have a different finish, different chainstay yoke, different dropouts, different brake booster...

A 'proper' business selling 2nd hand stuff seems very... 'car dealer down a back street' to me. We also simply haven't got time to take care of items like that given how much profit there would be in it. The current system on here is always improving, especially with the new feedback! Oh yeah Will add those up... cheers! 9:30-5:30, Mon-Fri.
  23. Haha, not a problem Look forward to seeing how it turns out mate!
