  2. It uses standard spokes, you hook the heads into the slots. The advantage comes if you need to change a spoke - they come straight out rather than having to bend/untwine them from the others. You can also change a spoke without having to take the cassette/disc rotor off. Built quite a lot of those hubs a few years back, seemed ok, but spoke breakage was more common than with conventional hubs.

  13. Just to be sure - does it actually NEED bleeding, or have you just swapped the lever blade and think it needs bleeding? Changing the lever blade doesn't mean it needs a bleed. Either way, there's a manual on the Hope website

  18. I wouldn't say you need one from experience, but certain people like their brakes to be REALLY stiff, if so... Measure your frame spacing, should be ~100mm on that one, then just check what spacing the boosters are. For example, an Echo 4-Bolt is 87-100mm spacing (centre-to-centre of bolt holes).
  19. Haha, that's what I did... But it would have been a LOT easier to make a CD holder out of some posh wood and make it look nice, that's all that really matters at GCSE...
