  1. Good man! Check sills and front chassis legs are ok, then give is a good service (engine oil and filter, gearbox oil, diff oil, flush coolant and refresh). Next step spank it on the road to see if there are any issues. After that, if you want to spend a bit of cash get a decent alignment done from a reputable place, then take it to the track. Don't be suckered into spending loads of money on it to start with - you'll have loads more fun in a standard car and they are surprisingly quick. Enjoy
  2. Maaayybbee. Inner fat man still comes out of hiding every now and again though Example: Made a massive apple crumble pie (yes, you read that right) at the weekend, using a whole block of butter. Was gone by Monday breakfast. That was after a week of eating BBQs and pasties and ice cream and pancakes on holiday. Back to salad this week Do feel a f**kload better for it though!
  3. I think small, rolling changes is the way to go. A huge change in diet and / or exercise habits won't stick. Swap a pie for a sandwich. Then a sandwich for a wrap. Then a wrap for a salad with good quality protein. Swap a chocolate bar for a yoghurt. Swap that for a piece of fruit. Drink plenty - start with fruit juice or something if you're currently hooked on dirty, sugary, takeaway coffee (for example), then swap that for no added sugar squash, then ween yourself onto water. 4L a day minimum for good hydration and maximum fat burn. A few of these sort of changes gradually will reduce your calorie intake significantly without you really noticing, and it'll stick. Exercise - again - start small. Park a bit further away from shops so you have to walk, do a bit of stretching every morning, soon you'll feel up to more meaty exercise and get 'the bug' again! Your body will start to crave exercise and that's when it becomes easy... I had a similar sort of thing - rode a lot of trials for a long time and hung around 80kg. Then stopped exercising as much and turned into a bit of a blob, still at the same weight. Then changed my eating habits gradually like above, dropped 10kg of fat, then started doing some proper exercise again and added 10kg of muscle. Now I've relaxed it a bit and hovering around 77-78kg but eating pretty much what I want around consistent and enjoyable activity.
  4. Czar are constantly changing the range (we are never able to get two batches of the same bike), so if you hang around for the 'latest one' you'll never buy one, ha!
  5. I think that's a personal thing - I think the Tech 3 feels really weird and don't like it at all!
  6. A screwdriver and a wall? http://www.wikihow.com/Adjust-Car-Headlights http://www.mx5nutz.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=103845 You don't have to be mega anal, just make sure they are pretty flat, certainly not pointing up
  7. In related news, here's what happens when you deliberately give a car LESS grip
  8. That is pretty f**king cool!
  9. Did some brum-brumming at the weekend. Got a bit lairy quiiiite frequently. Didn't crash somehow. Won class by miles both days. Mustn't grumble!
  10. Have used Fastline in Preston before, really good job.
  11. Hmm. Does look a bit flat, but maybe the turbo is just running out of puff? I don't know (or care ) much about them though to be honest. Looks like a mega powerband though, bet it flies!
  12. Bear in mind Chris' dyno isn't a boy racer one so doesn't give inflated results. You'd probably make 300bhp on other RRs! In fact, my old Westfield made exactly the same power as your car at EFI, but 320 on another one in Bolton
  13. That sort of thing does work well, or maybe some better-shaped deflectors. I ended up with some curved fibreglass ones on my Clio. Dunno if the thread is still on CS... I remember Tony Hunter calling me out for them being too posh, lol. Don't just send the air to the braking surface btw, it needs to go into the centre of the disc - so the cooling vanes are fed.
  14. Maybe not... http://www.willitblend.com/
  15. In all my years I've not heard of anyone wanting this before... so... I think that means you're 'special'
  16. Three Sisters is owned by Wigan council, The Racing School were hiring it off them. TRS went bust but a few local motor clubs have been able to hire it on a one-day basis to run their events Fair enough Mike, you could just live with it though Like a James Bond smokescreen.
  17. Not even with the engine out the car - a set of valve seals, a valve spring compressor and a head gasket costs as much as a replacement engine!
  18. You need someone to follow you. Blue smoke on power is piston rings, on overrun is valve stem seals. Neither of those jobs are worth doing, though...
  19. Revised mobile list view layout is now live, as well as some tweaks to how the pages load especially when moving between product pages and list pages. We found it wasn't as intuitive as it should have been, sometimes punting you back into a different place. Cheers JD - got some basic stats running which are enough for me, I'm not huge on stats etc. as you know!
  20. I don't believe you can (with regular tools)...
  21. Worked for Brexit... I do like Labour's policies but I too can't see where the cash will come from for them to deliver. Again, worked for Brexit...
  22. Looks pretty normal for an MX-5! They run rich at full beans - have seen 10:1 AFR before. Just spank it til it dies!
  23. More brum brum noises from me. Sprint event. Left the trailer at home, drove it down there, took no tools at all (not even any fuel or a tyre pressure gauge), won the class vs a 260bhp Westfield on soft tyres and a 270bhp Caterham on super posh sticky tyres, then drove it home again ready for commuting to work in the morning Was SO good to feel so 'baggage free' and just enjoy it...
