Not a bad plan Ali, you'd have to make sure the sprocket you want to use is over the bearing and the sprocket you want to machine down is over the freewheel mechanism though... And then the trials one is extra heat treated/hardened... In short: Don't do it, I don't want you killing yourself again!

Yeah, 07 version, it's got the bracing plate mirrored on the drive side, and I *think* the chainstays may be thicker (therefore stiffer) as the frame is 80g heavier than the last one I had.
