  1. Nope haha. Rob Larkins is 6ft 7?
  2. And its a very very good finish. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....amp;hl=blasting
  3. Give me or Stan a call at Tartys for directions if you fancy it Should be there about half 6. Ads
  4. It's because: Not many people like discs (I do though, got a pair on both my bikes) The Ozonys isn't really designed for disc use - the mount is at IS position, so the largest Mono Trial brake you can run without silly adaptors is 160 (not powerful enough). Both the specs Ali did look pretty awesome, and you would come out with a fair bit of change from your budget with either!
  5. I like the sidehop over rail one... how about turning the camera the other way up (portrait instead of landscape) and bringing the flash nearer to the camera - would put a cool shadow on the building...
  6. Cool... It does bed in though, you will need to check the preload every once in a while. (By preload I mean the torque of the top cap bolt, nothing to do with the headset being pressed into the frame). Undo stem bolts, tweak top cap bolt, do stem bolts back up again. Or you cna check by locking the front brake and rocking the bike backwards and forwards. Ads
  7. Without wanting to sound insulting/stupid... is the headset preloaded correctly?
  8. That is/was Gilles... But yeah, whopper riding, pretty average video.
  9. They only offer you bikes from certain suppliers because they have a deal with them... instead of forking out £900, they only end up spending £700 (or whatever) to send you a £900 bike. So... explain to them that the bike you had stolen was too specialist for Halfords/Wheelies Direct/Whoever to supply, that you custom built it from many suppliers - in most cases they give in and send you a cheque Insurance is so gay...
  10. That would be a beast Let me know how much you'd want for one dude, thanks! ATI chipset... no idea, don't think my brain could cope with 3 monitors though Ads
  11. Haha, plugtastic! Got a fair few left yep
  12. Shameless plug, sorry: Edit: Gone It's quite pricey though (compared to a Base...) Ads
  13. The place with the stack is the 'Moon Rocks' at Blackpool. The rest is filmed in Blackburn, Preston and I'm guessing Atherton (and probably some other places).
  14. Took PC apart today to clean out a few inches of dust and it does have an AGP slot (yes, I am a mong), but I'll have to butcher the case to fit a card in. Gay Aria. So, any recommendations for a pretty cheap card that will do the job? Obviously I could just go and grab a randomer but if anyone's had a particularly good/bad experience with a certain card it would be good to hear about Billy - good idea... might try them too
  15. Having enough co-ordination to control 5 different things using all 4 limbs at the same time! Last time I was in one: Left hand: Up/down and twist (kinda like a handbrake that you can twist too - can't remember exactly what it was for, up/down for rear rotor angle maybe, and then the twist for the angle of the main blades... so you have one hand controlling two different properties of two completely separate parts of the helicopter ) Right hand: Main 'joystick' for main rotor (360 degree movement) Right and Left feet: Counterbalancing each other for rear rudder angle (All of those are pretty sketchy 'I thinks', this was ~8 years ago...) I was allowed to control just the main stick at high speed and low speed - high speed was ok, but trying to hover is bloody impossible! Well worth trying to get some more info and a flight though, it's uber interesting Edit: Here we go! http://youtube.com/watch?v=lVlIWbJXSJk. My memory is poo it seems :$
  16. Yeah, it is expensive... also, someone I know with a helicopter license says only ~25% of people who start training end up with a license, it's THAT hard! Would be a well cool career though Great to hear your parents would be behind you too! Sorry, that wasn't much use but... :$
  17. Didn't realise Gav released so many vids! (The guy on the black Adamant is from Atherton (near Manchester... ish), rides with us quite a lot) Haha, he showed me that bail of Lee's (Blue ZHI) a while back, it's the funniest thing ever
  18. Yep, just get a new axle and non drive side end cap. ~£20 total.
  19. I wish! Tis more like 10.6kg I think. Atomz Full reply later/when I get a few mins spare...
  20. Yep, didn't think anyone would come
  21. As Ali mentioned above, the estimated completion was March.
