  1. I'll let Stan fill you in on that... home time now
  2. Shitloads I just totted it up to around £1870 plus all the Ti and Alloy bolts... And then a lot of the parts are modded, some not available any more.
  3. (Sorry about the poor editing) 9.74kg with brand new tyres
  4. Coolio, Try-All do a 118, 122.5 and 127.5 - you'll need a 127.5mm or longer to clear a freewheel and a bash
  5. Sounds about right yeah. What length do you have at the moment?
  6. Its a Goldtec fork... and it's not available to buy.
  7. Haha. Not really a fan of the Eagles but old music IS the best...
  8. Ah sorry, I thought 'Danny will be joined by Ben' would give the impression that Ben will join Atomz but hasn't yet, will edit now.
  9. Ben hasn't signed yet though.
  10. Danny Butler has signed for Atomz for the 2008 season following discussions over the last few weeks. He has currently sorted out an AKTII but should be receiving a new prototype frame at the end of this month. Following that, he will be travelling to France in early 2008 to finalise designs for a Danny Butler UK promodel due to be ready in March 2008. Danny will also be joined on the Atomz team by Ben Slinger (when pen has been put to paper), who possibly will be looking to return to 20". Both of them have been welcomed to the team by fellow Atomz riders including Marc Caisso, who also expressed interest in having Danny and Ben join him over in France for various shows. Danny and Ben would like to thank Onza for their help and support over the last few years, and will continue to be supported with Tensile components as factory riders.
  11. 'To be confirmed' (and see my comment below). These are cheap full bikes! When I started trials, £550 wouldn't even get you a cheapo jump frame with terrible geometry (-25bb, 1010 wheelbase, 395 stays), some old steel forks off an XC bike that would bend forwards and backwards every ride, a pair of LX V Brakes, some unbranded riser bar and 60mm stem with 25.4 clamp that would undoubtedly snap when you least expected it, LX on D521 wheels (if you were lucky), Tioga DH tyres (that you had to cut the side nobbles off to get them to clear the frame), FSA cranks in Yellow with DMR bashring (if you were posh, home-made all the way though and a chainring that would bend if you looked at it, V8 copy pedals, a Sram chain, cheap steel headset, heavy massive 12-30 8-speed cassette, a Sora mech that twatted your chainstay every time you hopped and a thumbshifter that left bruises on your thighs every time you tried to bunnyhop. I really don't see why these bikes are so 'bad'? They are for beginners and the price reflects that! I'm not a fan of the graphics, but the frame would last any rider right through their 'career' (don't forget that he very same geometry won the world champs in 2004) and is an excellent base. If anyone can give me GENUINE reasons why the Hitman and Cleaner (and Spyrogyra too for that matter) bikes are bad then I would like to hear them Adam

  20. No... I don't think it would be fair to impose such a rule. I would hope the winner doesn't just go and sell it straight away though!
