  1. I read somewhere that it was becoming a pain for moderators to keep approving 'sponsorship' threads so I thought I'd stick it here... Hope that's alright..? The BFB (Big Friendly Bessell) will be helping to promote TartyBikes and trials in general for the 2008 season. Pics and cheesy write-up here: http://tartybikes.co.uk/riders.php Ads
  2. Front Very good forks, also worth looking at Echo Control and Urban as I'm sure have been suggested!
  3. Not good forks... The alloy ones are about 200g heavier than they claim (so I imagine carbon will be similar), very flexy, too long.

    Ffw Dilema

I had the same thing with my Atomz one - grind/lathe/etc the very base of the bash down to ~3mm and it should be ok. When you have 7 threads that'll be enough, that's what I have
  5. Which exact model do you have? Some (the all black 8-speed ones, c. 1999ish) you need to unscrew a little black plug with a x-head on it... it's quite inconspicuous!
  6. You asked for it! I'm not sure of an exact date, bit I'm guessing summer 199...8? haha
  7. No probs Unfortunately I don't think it would be feasible... We talked with Profile a while back about making some 32h hubs (an even smaller change than the disc mount) and they didn't think it was worth doing
  8. Phone is definitely best. It sounds very much like the thread which holds the ratchet into the hub has stripped. Hope are a great company, I am pretty sure they will help out in some way. Explain the problem and see what they say Ads
  9. Was gonna ask about that... think they were building it last time I was there - looks alright for a mess about! Cool pics, cheers for sharing
  10. As the guy's said, the setup will give you 10.2mm space between the disc mount on the hub and disc mount on the frame. IS is 15mm. A snail cam would take up 3mm of this room (and another 3mm the other side) but you're then up to 116mm axle length and you still need to find another 2mm. I've seen all sorts of horrible solutions in the past (grinding calipers, bad setups), but the best in my opinion is facing a little off the disc mount combined with turning ~1.5mm off the hub shell. As you can see from the pic above, theres plenty of meat on the disc mount to allow you to do this. Ads

    Unicycle Hop

Check the tuckage on that maaate!
  12. Yes: Internal = cups go inside the frame and bearings go inside the cups Integral = bearings press directly into the frame Internal is 44mm diameter Adam
  13. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=112884 Don't think they come in red though. Both the Profile and a King are incorrect spacing and require some 'tweaking' to get it to work...
  14. Yep, and his was fine as far as I remember. We've also had a local guy with one on 26" for over a year, also no problems: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_OSuudvOYQ (black Adamant A1) The 20" hubs have been more reliable in my experience, around 80% with no problems I would estimate.
  15. Cos I took them Joe - you win nothing!
  16. First one to spot what's 'wrong' wins... nothing Adam
  17. Available from any official Profile dealer: I think RRP is around £210 Ads
