  1. The only problem now is that your piston will probably do the same thing every time you try and use the brake They aren't supposed to be taken apart. You may have to glue it back in...
  2. So... I thought sub 8kg would be possible and I might as well try it! Frame weight: 1.258kg with modifications (no bashplate mounts). Bike weight 7.96kg. Geo: 985mm wheelbase, 350 stays, +65mm BB, 72 head = bunnyhop monster! New pic 12th March with new pedals and rotors... weight now 7.88kg: New pic 25th Feb with black graphics: Try-All rear hub (172g ) and Fouriers 7075 Alloy sprocket Not had chance for a proper ride yet... Big thanks to Dave at Trialtech for the pre-production spokes and bashring Hope you like! Adam Edit: Awaits abuse from Hudson And I think I'll change the stickers to black...
  3. It's about 1/3 the way through the tube if I remember correctly... haha
  4. They aren't produced unfortunately. Are you after a Fluro (painted) green or anodised? Cheers Adam
  5. They aren't available separately unfortunately.
  6. 6 months covering manufacturing defect and materials.
  7. It's where the 'Boxx' name comes from. The whole top tube/seat area/seat tube assembly is made from two hydroformed halves and then welded together to make a 'Boxx'
  8. I think ridden in a 'competition' way the frame would be fine for 99% of riders, after all it is the 'F1 car' of trials bikes - don't smash into stuff and it does the job amazingly! The back end is 135mm, yes
  9. Depends on brake setup, but anywhere between £2199 and £2249 (should be £2500+ as you said, but I don't think the UK market can justify that). Ads
  10. The UK RRP will be £999. It 'should' be over £1200! That depends exactly what you mean by 'strength'. The frame will be damn strong if you don't smash the tubes up. The downtube on this frame seems quite thick though, definitely thicker than the Giaco and XTPs we have here. Cheers Adam
  11. Firstly: Note to mods. If this is seen as advertising then no problem, however I think quite a few people will be genuinely interested in the frame since there haven't been any decent pictures of it posted yet. Cheers! Pics of Boxx frame... really really cool. 1.698kg and stiff as a badger. Geometry with Echo Urban fork: 1100wb, +50mm bb, 380mm stays, 120mm long head tube, 72 degree head angle, 680mm 'reach', 135mm spaced rear end. Big massive version of the same pic: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/frames/boxxhuge.jpg Same again in massive: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/frames/boxxhuge2.jpg Enjoy! Adam
  12. We have a delivery arriving tomorrow, selected frames are included.
  13. Nice stuff! Get yourselves some of these, they help a lot! http://www.gominiserie.com/ratchet%20straps%20yellow.jpg Ads
  14. I had a Park one for over 600 wheelbuilds and JUST replaced it the other day. They are the best. I can't see how you managed to kill it?! haha As for the IceToolz, also had one of those for more than a year (almost daily use) with no problems.
  15. The sly git's only just told us! Happy Birthday you basher
  16. Frame only is possible - the 649 is £259 including bashplate.
  17. M18 x 1.0 - we have a tap should anyone want it extending. Cheers Adam
  18. £130, and yes, the frame and fork mounts are also different.
  19. Don't forget the 499 also: RRPs: 449: £329 499: £369 649: £499 All come with Try-All tyres and drilled rims. You will notice the 449 has a shorter fork and stem - this is to fill the 'gap' for riders who are still a little small for a normal 20" bike. Adam
  20. I think Michel might still have some...
  21. Fred, Koxx and I will work together to continue Rob's support, I am sure your relationship will continue! As Mark said in the post below yours, we do help out with the YMSA series and have done for some time in various guises. I certainly wouldn't rule out helping with other competitions though, if you feel there is the need for an extra 'helper' then feel free to give me a shout John Thanks Adam
  22. See above - Fred can still supply to his existing trade links but this new arrangement means there are two possible trade sources. We hope this will improve the availability of products!
  23. K-124 is the company Koxx, Try-All, Koxx-One, 24 Bicycles, Yaabaa, French ID, Aktarus, Stone Edge and A Bad Thing are sold and distributed by.
